This is my opinion after listening to some of the speeches. The anger and fight is over many issues, especially the economy. There is no leader in this movement, but republican party gave them one thing they needed, a martyr. The double standard applied between Trump and Hillary concerning legal and moral issues, went too far. They don't want that for their daughters. IMO

I think the Marches/Protests were timed to give President Hillary Clinton ammunition for putting forth Women-Friendly laws. Weren't many of the groups planning these "show of force" marches before November 8, 2016?

And I'm guessing after trump seeing the mass of women protesting he ran to the bill(s) with pen in hand to sign?

You asked some questions her is my two cents.

Whatever the motivation of the average protester be sure that the leaders and spenders of these deals have a total political aim that is simply operating behind the front. This reality is best demonstrated by the total hypocrisy of the movement as to the targets of its wrath.

Not to mention the total blindness to the fact that a woman....a sister....can be ok with destroying a female baby in the womb objectifying life as tissue and then elevating woman hood and this as part of true womanhood.

As well, the steaming hot mess that rises like steam from a boiling pot.......cause mommy got beat in the election by a man really hurts these sort of radicals and mental defectives.

Its pretty silly seeing as how they aren't oppressed like in many places in the world.

What is silly and ironic is seeing them protest one of the most un oppressed country in the world and all the while protecting and fighting for the most oppressed countries in the world against women and homosexuals.

Where is the outcry against the Clintons, bush, Obama and all the other presidents who consistently overlooked and conveniently ignored these ME countries and their abuse to women and homosexuals?

But yeah lets protest against the One POTUS who has the balls to call them out on that. Don't get me wrong their is plenty to hate trump about but these marches are hypocritical , politically biased and disingenuous as it can get.

This is about the butt hurt from getting 100% blind sided when their FBI criminally investigated , scandal ridden, lying candidate didn't win and trump grabbed them by the kitty kat.

In the end this isn't going to change anything because they are protesting against the wrong country and the wrong people. However, I support their right to be sexist, hypocritical , and angry from loosing as long as it stays peaceful and doesn't hurt others.

Keep on yelling ladies, heck of job you are doing!!!

The women who originally planned the march weren't really doing it because of Trump. They were doing it because of issues women face. That doesn't mean there weren't plenty of women there against Trump, but that wasn't the focus of the march originally.

What the organizers hope for is that the march will empower and inspire women (and men) to go back to their communities and work for the change they want to see.

Not such a horrible thing, is it?

No it's not a horrible thing, and very noble indeed. But what the original intention was, got quickly distorted and totally lost. A vast majority of people protesting don't actually know What they are protesting, as a whole.

Example: insider.foxnews.com...

Personally, I don't understand why these women in America are protesting. Its pretty silly seeing as how they aren't oppressed like in many places in the world.

They think Trump will put them in burkas and chain them in the kitchen or something and they believe it.

Yea his wife and daughters look so oppressed and beaten down. LOL!

There were many, many women there (including some of the original organizers) who were not Hillary fans. The American Muslim woman who was one of the organizers? She's definitely a Bernie fan.

Funny thing is, at work yesterday, all the women were there, and none were wearing pink.

Something tells me that crowd is WAY one sided.

So for them to say "Women" in anything they use, is a false statement, because it should read "Liberal Women's March"

Just another guise for yet another anti Trump Protest.

I'd like to say I'm getting sick of seeing it, but truth be told.....It's just awesome to watch the left flailing around, doing all the things that lost them the election.

Keep it up, you're weeding out all the moderates that once made the Democratic party powerful. Seems they are content on imploding.

It's still pending. I see no pending laws to do with job growth. I thought for a year that was number one and immigration. But its just about taking away from ameircans, especially women.

So you are suggesting they are trump fans?

BTW I'm no trump fan and supported Bernie.

Funny you mention the American Muslim woman who was one of the organizers. However you left out her pro stance on sharia law and connections with ME countries who treat their women like dogs.

Funny how they chose to ignore that.

Her tweet read something like :

"You know you're living under Sharia Law when all of your loans and credit cards are interest free. Wouldn't that be nice?"

And THIS is the woman these women choose to stand with?

The irony of it is just amazing.

Oh how surprising. An entire thread of 2nd amendment advocates making fun of, and dismissing the legitimacy of, millions of Americans practing their 1st amendment.

I swear to... Something... You all really only care about that one amendment.

The jokes about sandwiches, male escorts, etc... Are exactly why these women are marching.

No I am not suggesting they are Trump fans. I am just correcting your false assertion that this march was due to Hillary losing the election. It was definitely not about that. The march was in the works before the election. The march was going to happen regardless of who won. Many of the women there were Bernie fans.

Haven't you heard all the rumors that Hillary was even snubbed from being a part of the march? I don't think she was officially snubbed, but she supposedly wasn't on their list of women honorees.

The American Muslim woman believes Muslim communities should be free to use Sharia law within their communities - not that the whole country of non-Muslims must have Sharia law. And she does not want Sharia law to supersede American law, i.e., no stoning or cutting off of hands. She also fights for women's rights in those ME countries, like Arab Muslim women activists do in those countries that they live in.

No, they can use their first amendment rights all they want!

So can we!

I've not seen anyone say they shouldn't be able to do it, just commenting on the absurdity of it all.

See how that works?

Liberal atheist pro-abortion women are not very good at reproducing. Check the numbers. The only ones making children on the left are the single welfare mothers.

Trying to capture the women label for yourselves without consideration for conservative women is sickening.

The fact you have to talk in that matter proves that you don't do that much. Men do not talk in that matter.

It reminds me when I was having a beer with some friends and our female teacher friend told us how hard it was shopping for school materials. My male friend is a firefighter, and I lay pipe. We bust out laughing.

Admit this is a cryfest because a woman did not win like expected and socialist policies will not be enacted. World's biggest therapy session.

WTF does guns have to do with this?

As for the 1st amendment comment, Who is telling them to not do it?
So in your mind its ok to protest, but not ok to protest the protest?

Gotcha

What will history books say about the largest Women's march/protest ever recorded? I suppose ease of communication via social media will get a lot of credit for it being so successful on an international scale.

Yes, yea and guns are simply and extension of the penis.

And really haven't heard anyone making fun of them for exercising a right.......they are simply confused and butt hurt wackos who have the right to cluster in large mobs and walk around.

Planned Parenthood can go back to being an organization which operated off of 100% donations, not tax payer money.

You can keep baby killing, too. That's not going away.

Obamacare will be gone and soon the middle class will get some relief.

Business are getting a 20% tax cut so they can invest in themselves and grow. You know, create jobs. But, of course he can't put all this in motion in the first weekend in office....
