It is so hard to face that part of life. That the ones we love and care for just vanish. Some people find comfort in the belief that we will gather again.
That is all good, but the pain in the beginning is very real. It fades with time but still......
We want to hear their voice touch a hand.

Yes this is a premature Valentine's note but the celebration is actually just a very recent invention. So breaking tradition can be justifiably arbitrary.
Now for 'awesome', it literally translates to inspiring fear and wonder, in some languages it simply reads "fear-inspiring" and they don't use the word in the same way as we do.

But I to some extent interpret it literally.
You do challenge me to see my self from a different angle than my usual subjective position.
You make me challenge my prejudice, my superficial appearance.
You inspire me to be me.
For that I thank you.

Happy V day to you too. The picture is a fuchsia they are such interesting plants and I wish I could find the name of that specific one in Danish, some thing "Prince..."

They are amazingly delicate. They need to have plenty of loose soil for their delicate roots to push through.

Yes bleeding hearts, we have them in the yard and love them!!!!!!!! Thanks Zazzy for sharing! They are perfect!

I'm waiting for Kat's chocolate wine and the boys to bring boxes of chocolates and some flowers. Maybe we will be treated to a special vid from Tom and Gordi.

So sorry to hear this sad news CC !

I hope you and Syx can take some comfort, knowing that she is in a better place, with all the physical and emotional pain that our world can bring ... left behind.

She is now free to enjoy all the things we can not even imagine, let alone experience until we too are star dust once again .

Well finally the heatwave is over !
( even got some rain today )

Sitting here in a much more user friendly 75f at 6pm -
consuming my first icy cold frothy beverage !

Here's something you don't see often ...

I was on a shift at the base recently when the word came in that
therr was a wedding being held on the grounds and the Groom's mate was about to show up in spectacular fashion !

It most certainly was. Out of nowhere came this Pitt Special stunt plane !

He performed all the tricks for a good 5 mins. Right in front of our viewing window !!

Glad your heat wave is over! Wow, that stunt plane must have been spectacular to see! Too bad you couldn't capture that on your phone! Not something you see every day for sure.
