Flesh for Lulu Roman

(Just knew her as "Lulu" but her name is Lulu Roman. Who? You know! She was on that redneck comedy show, Hee-Haw! Big girl [thyroid condition, she's lost weight], polka dot dress, bow in her hair? Funny.

Flesh for Lulu, the song, "I go crazy"? Lead singer RIP in 2015. I saw them open for PIL in 1990 in Tempe, AZ. Ah, the 90's)

Dear Ms. BuzzyWigs!

You are cordially invited to the Lateral Thinking Game!

We play by taking turns combining a famous person and a band name.

E.g., “Minnie Pearl” + “Pearl Jam” becomes “Minnie Pearl Jam”
“LL Cool J” + “J Edgar Hoover” becomes “LL Cool J Edgar Hoover”
You can go in either order.

And if you cannot think of a band + famous person name combination, you can link three band names together! Two is too easy, so the agreement is three.

E.g., (Spaceman ((Three) Dog (Night)) Ranger)

Like the Acronym Game Thread, hit “Reply To” to link in!

Good luck! And have fun using your noodle!!

Close. But that is kind of the same name. It would work if you did not use "Fleetwood Mac" or somebody else with a name ending "Fleetwood". Like this...

Mick Fleetwood Mask

See? "Mick Fleetwood" is the famous person and "Fleetwood Mask" is the band (they are a tribute band). Although it I nearly the same name.

So here is my next entry broken up. "Hugh Laurie" and "Laurie Anderson" which then becomes...

Hugh Laurie Anderson

ah I never heard of the cover band.....ok.

got it.

I'm afraid I won't be very good at this particular game ---- I don't really follow 'cover bands.'

But --- I will enjoy following along here and learning about them!!!

ANY band name works as does any famous name. The names just flow together and make a funny sounding name! Like...

Blind Faith Hill

-or-

Mos Def Leppard

First one sounds like a old blues singer from the South! The second one is just funny. Now, they just come to me so I write them down and have over half a page of new ones and several pages of two-band names waiting for the "Aha!" moment to make three bands. I even started writing down people's names that I can use. I think I have a problem!!

(back to the game...)

Don't give up Buzzy. The cover band was just an example.

Brian Wilson is the lead singer of the Beach Boys. It could have been "Woodrow Wilson" or "Flip Wilson" or anybody whose last name is "Wilson" and famous.

Wilson Pickett, singer, big hit, In the Midnight Hour.

You link and combine them: (Flip or Woodrow, in this case) Brian Wilson Pickett

You know who Tim Mathews is? Band of Brothers actor? Using the early "Tiny Tim" again to link the two names... you get...

Tiny Tim Mathews
