The way I am perceiving this information is that being a former first lady, there may be ways to pardon Bill and affiliations of wrong doing because it involves a former President directly, or because of Bill's former involvement with CIA director John Deutch? This would in turn, due to security reasons, force Trump to ease off a full legal press if so...

Nah. whats being said is that Obama can parallel Bill's pardon of John Deutsch by doing the same with Hillary.

Outgoing Presidents have frequently pardoned criminals in jail, prison as a last minute gesture of goodwill. Its commonplace...but whether she needs to be charged first? Dont know...

But Ive said all along, I bet she'll be pardoned, not charged, dropped and/or exhonorated...like other Presidents have done before they turn out the lights.....

If any charges are filed by separate state charges, then a federal pardon will not protect Hillary. Like if child trafficking charges are filed by a prosecutor in New York or elsewhere. States can subpoena FBI evidence and file charges and Hillary is going to swing regardless of a presidential pardon.

If she winds up getting pardoned for all crimes past, then our justice system can't investigate her further- correct?

In that case, once the full truth of the depth of her evil is brought to light by we the people (probably through wikileaks or similar) than she'll get the justice she deserves- a good old fashioned lynch mob.

You don't have to be charged with a crime to be pardoned. President Ford pardoned President Nixon of any & all crimes committed while he was President. And Nixon was never formally charged with any crimes. A pardon is a get out of jail free card.

No. Like Nixon, she could be pardoned before charges are made. In practice there's not much difference between the two, but I think the idea they're trying to get across is that there won't even be an attempt made to see if something illegal happened.

Which honestly is the right move, Hillary is out of politics. That's enough of a victory for people it's time to move on to real issues.

It's actually standard practice for outgoing Presidents to pardon their former administrations, specifically so that incoming groups can't tie the country up with prosecuting unpopular losers. It keeps us looking forward. Hillarys pardon will probably just be wrapped up in that.

I think that a pardon will not protect the Clinton Crime Family from a much worse fate than prison. They sold future favors to some very rich and powerful people. Now they can't deliver those favors. That may upset some of them. How upset these types of people get I will leave to your speculation.

The real reason she will get a pardon is because she would have dirt on Obama. I don't think Obama wanted the knowledge of a pardon public knowledge. Because their is a chance she might still be president, and a pardoned President might look a bit funny. All the crap on ATS known about them isn't public knowledge as yet although its getting out there.
