Allies are allies, whether anyone else wants them to be so or not.

Allies are allies and clients are clients.

The Internal Affairs of Russia are Their Business , Not the United States . The same could be said of the E.U . Not their Business .

And the internal affairs of the United States of America are none of Russia's business.

I think you'll find President Elect Trump will not agree with that, since he is a businessman and not a croney Political hawk. Like it or not, tensions have already began to ease, and will only improve as time goes on...with a Clinton Whitehouse we'd have had school kids running duck and cover drills on a daily basis...things are looking up, thankfully.

Have you Ever Wondered why Russia is taking such a Hard Stance in Syria ? It's All about a Warm Water Port for their Navy . Assad assures they Keep it , a New Government in Syria Might Deny it to them .

Exactly. They don't care how many Syrians need to die to keep their port.

Yes , Might Makes Right . It does not Work Forever . Look what happened in Afghanistan in 1980 ..

I say put Hillary in the Gulag

Gulag? That is not the American way. See why so many of us fear for the country?

According to your FBI director...punishing gross criminal activity isn't the American way either...let's see how well she fares under Trumps new FBI director...shall we?

Who's been supplying the weapons, money, training and comfort to the 'moderates', extending the war and abject misery for at least 4 years longer than it ought to have gone on for?

I'll give you a clue...it begins with a 'U' and ends with an...go on, have a guess.

U.S. Foreign Policy in 2017 will be Very Different than it is Now Under Obama . Trump wants to go After Islamic Terrorists , not Give them more Weapons to Kill Innocent Syrians like Obama did .

That's for sure. I don't think it will settle anything elsewhere, though. It might lead to a shooting war with China, however.

You're NOT going to ruin my good mood DJ, no matter HOW hard you try.

Celebrate away... but I don't want to hear any complaining when the cops are issued tanks.

Already been done.

Thanks OBAMA!

The guy's a billionaire, and hires the best of the best. I have faith, at least for now, that he will tackle problems with competent teams of people assisting him. If he can't get them from within, he'll bring them in. Let's give him a reasonable chance.
The sooner he gets those neo-con cronies replaced the better . When I got up this morning and heard that Trump had won I laughed and laughed . Then I realized that Hillary lost and I was happy . This could go good for Syria and Yemen .lets hope :>)

Trump has threatened to impose economic sanctions on China. That's always a good first step.

Why would Trump going after murdering terrorists lead to a shooting match with China?

Unlike a Clinton or indeed a Obama Whitehouse, Trump won't simply run roughshod over Syrian sovereignty, the eradication of M.E. terrorism will be accomplished in partnership with all concerned parties.

I sincerely feel that now Clinton has been shown the door, the real terror is being felt by the terrorists themselves...their days are numbered now, and they know it.

Trump is a neo-con. Have you seen who may be considered for his cabinet?

According to a report from NBC News, among those being considered are: Rudy Giuliani for attorney general, Newt Gingrich for secretary of state, retired Lt. Gen Michael Flynn for defense secretary or national security adviser, Trump finance chairman Steve Mnuchin for Treasury secretary, and Republican National Committee finance chair Lew Eisenberg for commerce secretary.

Going after murdering terrorists is what got the US bogged down in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is either going to stop and withdraw, or continue the failed policy. On the other hand, he has been very vocally threatening China with a trade war. Shooting wars follow trade wars.

Not related to eradicating terrorism in the M.E. though, surely.

If anything, a partnership or alliance with ALL nations to rid the world of the scourge of baby killers and fanatical murderers is the most likely scenario, regardless of other Political squabbles...such an alliance will probably have a knock on effect where other differences are talked about calmly and sensibly.

As an aside, Iraq was never about Terrorism..but rather imperialism. And frankly Afghanistan was iffy too, considering Bin-Laden is / was a Saudi. He was also holed up in Pakistan for years too...yet unlike Afghanistan, no Pakistan invasion came.

Exactly.

The Chinese never do anything that is bad for China...a shooting match, much less a trade war would be bad business and of course, they know this.

There was never any proof or evidence Russia manipulated anything with the elections. They had no interest in doing so. The FBI even dismissed that rumor. Try again?
