Russia is not our friend. Repeat, Russia is not our friend. Russia is Russia's friend. Period.
I hope so. I hope every country puts their own interests first. Why we should do this but anyone else is evil for doing so is a little beyond me. And
Russia never said they were more interested in helping us than helping themselves.
If you study Russia's economic situation it becomes clear that Russia is facing hard times.
Yes they are, and they've had some even worse times behind them the last few decades. For example one recent year their budget was something like
50mil for the same mil that we had an 'official' budget of 500-odd mil for (plus plenty of 'unofficial' streams of money routed not officially on
record for that). They are not equally or more bad-ass than us anymore and haven't been for a long time.
Which is part of why our treating them as if they are still the gigantic supower and same form of communism they were back then is not clear for
reason to a lot of onlookers, both here and all over the world. Our country does all kinds of crap like put missile launchers all over right next to
them (we say "Oh but we aren't putting offensive nuclear missiles in them. Really, we're putting defensive anti-aircraft missiles in them." Yeah what
a lame excuse since one can do either). Then we act like they are somehow aggressive toward us. We constantly bulley Russia now all while acting like
they are bullying us.
And this might have continued with people oblivious, except "the internet." Now anybody can actually see -- almost constantly -- the actual, official
meetings of major world organizations, serious interviews with world leaders, and more. And the more the world sees of Putin, the more he is just
damned hard to dislike as some hideous evil. Even though I assume all national leaders are due to my own biases.
But if you listen to the situations, and what he and others say, and see that this spans many years now, the only thing clear is that the USA behaves
internationally a lot like the left and media operates here -- as a huge bully, who while stomping on nearly everyone, will single out various enemies
and insist that they are the ones bullying. We can all but obliterate big swaths of country after country and it's ok, but if they have any conflicts
at all of their own, we take the side of whomever they are fighting with and propaganda about how evil Russia is becomes inescapable.
And no matter how they say, Anybody can see -- this is so not true, the facts and evidence are open for everyone -- the more they are shouted into
submission with "everything you say is a lie because you're evil" basically. It's slow, but I think more people internationally are getting as sick
of our country acting like this, as the people inside our country are getting of our media and corporate-left behaving the same way internally.
The oligarchy in charge is desperate to drive a wedge between the USA and Western Europe, and cause deep divisions within our
country.
You said this following the sentence I quoted above. Like your entire justification for "why" they are the ultimate evil is because they are having
hard times -- which is nothing new for them and it's been worse. That doesn't make them inherently the enemy -- it just makes them a non-ally, in
great part thanks to our own behavior, that is about 1/12 the size of our power if that.
A confused, isolated America with no friends...except Russia? How convenient!
Hilarious! Geez, if anybody's sitting around working for a government I think it might be you LOL! Oooooh the poor USA. They're so confused and
isolated. Big Bad Russia, now with about 1/10 to 1/15 of the mil budget we've got and their whole economy coming back from the worst crash, and utter
chaos in their whole part of the world, and the middle east right next door on one side, and the giant china on the other -- I think they are busier
with trying to stay afloat than trying to bully us.
Putin is a man trying desperately to save his country. It only takes watching him even a little let alone a lot, on youtube for example, to see that
he's a better statesman than anybody our country's had since WWII.
That, is exactly what Putin and his buddies want. They want us tearing one another apart here, and they want our country to be isolated from
our former allies.
I think what Putin wants is to keep his country from imploding from all the pressure, keep the 800# gorilla USA from using the same cold-war mentality
we had and refuse to get rid of to continue pretending they are the bad guy while we are openly bullying most the planet. This is not merely attitude,
it's actions: there's a lot of stuff that we made agreements not to do, Russia kept their agreements, and we have violated them flagrantly and ongoing
for decades.
It is the left in this country that is being clearly funded for subversion -- and if you're going to blame Russia for involvement in the past with 5th
column stuff, it was the left where that was present -- and still present, but most people truly communist hate Putin's new Russia because it's not
Marxist anymore.
China is putting a LOT of pressure on Russia.
They always have.
The quality of life in Russia is declining fast, and the people are restless.
The quality of life in Russia has never been particularly good, and the people are no more visibly restless than they have ever been.
This is why you see the government of Russia exert such a stranglehold over the people.
They don't have nearly the stranglehold over people they had during the Cold War. The USSR broke up, remember? Russia is just a piece of what they
used to be.
Russia is playing psyops and social engineering games with Americans, as they always have. This is nothing new. Russia has been using
state-sponsored propaganda since the old Cold War days.
Yes, mostly as Marxist 5th column specifically to sponsor the political left. They may still be doing something, but given they are drastically
smaller and poorer now and busy trying to survive, spending huge sums dedicated to getting Americans pissed off at each other seems a little like it'd
be a priorities problem. Aside from which, who says we need anybody to gets us fighting each other? No need to fund what is openly apparent all on its
own.
