I agree that if the Project Veritas videos are to be taken at face value then full transparency is in order. The full unedited videos used should be made available. O'Keefe should be happy to do that if everything he is showing is as it seems, AND if he wants these videos to be taken seriously and be effective.

I assume the unedited videos would be subject to discovery, anyway, if any potential court cases are advanced to the discovery phase.

O'Keefe is doing no favors by editing and not releasing the unedited videos. He can do both and eliminate any debate as to what the videos represent.

Honestly, I don't take these videos, the NYT video showing 'unfiltered Trump voices,' or other similar videos at face value and I suspect they are distractions, at the very least -- especially in these critical weeks leading into the election.

I want to reiterate that James O'Keefe is a self-professed progressive radical. Link

So are the people he is 'exposing.'

If you are willing to consider the 'controlled opposition' scheme laid out in the Project Veritas videos, then is it that unreasonable to wonder if O'Keefe is controlled opposition, too?

I don't think it is.

I am going to make a prediction...any civil cases resulting from the Project Veritas videos will be rejected or dropped or thrown out. The correct defendants won't be named, there will be no standing under the laws argued, or the legal arguments will be intentionally weak...or something else will cause them to fail.

I am getting the same sense from wikileaks...all eyes are being diverted and there's a lot of effort going into that without any substantive, effective, smoking-gun results to warrant all the attention.

I know Hillary Clinton is corrupt. If wikileaks doesn't have the goods to show that effectively, then I wish they would stop hogging up all the attention. And then there's all the other drama involving Assange, the recent death of the director, etc....

It's like 'they' want people distracted by this and know it will produce no substantive result as far as the outcome of the election is concerned.

Voting is already well underway. Election cases are being heard and decided. I hope people are paying attention to that stuff, too.

Creamer wasn't let go.

Ok...he still wasn't "let go" from his job.

Are you implying he wouldn't have been fired for his actions had he not "stepped down"?

Ok...does that prove something?

Yes, it proves he is a criminal, and has again
engaged in criminal actions, taking orders
directly from Hillary Clinton.

He is a past criminal, and there are zero criminal actions in this video.

And there is also zero proof he is taking orders directly from Hillary.

But keep trying.

Lol...Okay...Creamer wasn't "Let go"...He was actively encouraged "step down" from the campaign!

He voluntarily stepped down.

Unless you have some proof that he was actively encouraged to step down...if you do...share it.

Right...he "voluntarily" stepped down. Sure...why not?

So you have no proof that he didn't voluntarily step down...right?

So we are forced to go with the information we have...which is him saying he is voluntarily stepping down.

If you want to make up a imaginary story, go ahead...but please make sure to state that it is a work of fiction.

In this case, even saying "stepping down" is incorrect.

He is "stepping back" from his role in dealing with the Hillary campaign. He still has his job, and from his statement it isn't even clear if his organization as a whole stepped back or if it was just him. His statement was a personal statement, so I would assume his organization is still working with the campaign.

And none of what has been shown in the videos is illegal...so it's still just grasping at straws.

Butting in --

Creamer's words actually indicated he did not want to be a "distraction," right now.

So you are correct, TAT.

There was external pressure that prompted Creamer's 'stepping back.' Clearly, right now, his name is associated with the Project Veritas videos. Unless Kruphix can show what other possible distraction he might be, right now, then you have satisfied the burden of proof and the burden is now on Kruphix to find an alternative reason he may have suddenly felt like a "distraction" and decided to "step back."

ETA: Sorry, but the inanity of the debate forced me to butt in. Obviously he stepped back because of the Project Veritas videos.

No one is disputing that he stepped back because of the video, where did you get that from? It's right there in his released statement.

What the other member claimed is that the Hillary campaign pressured him to step down (which he didn't even do).

So the logical stance is to accept the facts as we know them, which is Creamer stepped back from his campaign activities but with no indicated pressure from the Clinton campaign.
