Small rant. Was in the city yesterday with a friend and was set to cross the street when 50-100+ morons on bikes road through the entire street and through the red light, some yelling "black lives matter" or "better not cross the street"(most were black, few hispanic, one or two whites). One police car was next to all this, lights flashing, but what could they do. The car slowly followed them as they continued going through the busy streets. At least one of the bikers fell at the intersection(not exactly sure what happened, but glad it did, idiot). I swear these morons should just shut up and follow the law instead of breaking it as they were then. No one cares about their movement and they lose outside support this way(in any case I despise it more and more, hopefully others as well).

Ah! Would have been a good day to wear my Trump shirt. i did two days before then. Out of seven reactions, five positive. Got pizza with the same friend. Guy we ordered from said, "Oh, look, Trump", pointing at my shirt and motioned to some customer(I assume a regular) a bit more to the back. That guy motioned to me to come, showed a sticker on the wall or furniture, "Middle Village Loves Trump", continued to say a positive remark about him and whatnot. Loved it.

It ends in October now. Originally it started Oct. 12. They kind of combined some histories and it expanded to mid/late Sept through Oct.

As such, if the first Sunday in October falls on the 1st or the 2nd, then the festival would run until October 3 (German Unity Day). Thus, the festival now runs for 17 days when the first Sunday is October 2 and 18 days when it is October 1. In 2010, the festival lasted until the first Monday in October (October 4), to mark the event's bicentennial.
