They have a nice rebuttal to the Snopes article.

I wouldn't have given it any credence but that changed when I saw that Snopes downed it as a hoax.

Pretty cool if its true. Guess my wife and I would be considered preppers so we'll be among the very first killed and will get to die with our boots on at home instead of in a gas chamber or worse, at a forced labor camp.

Superstation95 have an account on ATS under the name Newsroom. Not long ago I started a thread on one of their claims, that Saudi Arabia had joined the nuclear club. Newsroom responded to a post by Zaphod58 who stated there was a lot of rubbish on their site. A search showed that the source they had used, a Saudi man in a video, was questionable.

Very interesting... thank you!

I checked out your thread. It looks like they left three comments, all of which were removed -- two for being off-topic, and one for a T&C violation. Other comments quote at least part of their removed comments though, which seemed more than a little rude (the "newsroom" comments seemed a little rude).

Another thought occurs to me... simple opportunism -- whether by the station, or the officers. If this "information" was something that someone wanted to get out, but did not want to be associated with, the suicide may have provided an opportunity for someone to claim he was the source. Who would know otherwise?

as much as my mouth runs freely, if it was the opposite? Id already been gagged and waterboarded... thats basically the entire agenda that Obama said he was running on, transparency. Well with laws forcing transparency, the populous is of course going to be first looked at, so those extremist in their views wouldnt cause so much collateral damage with tsa check points names on no fly lists etc. it is obviously for the greater good and as its working up from private sector some public or government sector is being shaken loose as corruption is being worked out... of course if they wanted what the doom porn people fear? Then it would have already ocurred as any plan there are contengencies in place at every level, the jade helm excercise was of course one of mobilization in case shtf on every level district by district. This election is a hinge point... we have a two party system with a very outdated system that allows corruption, with extremists at both ends of those party lines with ideologies that are not ethical to the whole public in which the government and states are supposed to represent.

Sure such a revamp just thrown onto people would mean chaos... the entitlements the corrupt have given and entrenched themselves in causing such disparity in the private and public sector, is due to that old republic system that can obviously become a true democracy where every voice can be counted and heard. This means the will of the people would finally actually get a voice and move into the 21st century.

So those paranoid and spreading doom porn for greed and to fan flames of hate to keep their corruption going? have obviously already been tallied and that system obviously is not fair to the people, the public or the entire world to advance forward into better... of course those learning those old tired systems and wanting to continue them have become the minions that spread such dessent and propaganda to the public like as I said a virus or a canker that needs healing not exacerbation.

So IMHO an experience? You can lay those personal fears to rest as the hope is one for balance, peace, and health and healing instead of perpetuation of systems that are a detriment to the entire world, and those clinging to such systems that bring no good to ones self, to others, to the community, or the world itself. Every child whho inherits this earth has the same basic dream... world peace until taught otherwise, im sure most reading this held it at some point or still do... and well some dreams are meant to be kept alive, and some are just a nightmare its obvious no one really wants the nightmare or doom to be an actual reality, and if they do well seeing whos fanning those flames or teaching others to so the world burns has been pretty obvious.

In other words nothing to fear not even those desperately trying to spread it, its not wise to mistake the ousting of such fear mongers so they can have a chance and change for the better, or do time for their corruption as anything but trying to lend a hand. Its like an old wounded dog, where even though you mean it no harm, lashes out thinking they are going to recieve more injury than help so it bites instead of allow the help it desperately needs. That what humanity does and has been working for... looking at history we and our global allies do not have a let it burn policy, thats from individuals and groups and their wanting to spread such nonsense for various reasons not really rational or logical in todays society to advance for better.

After reading both websites and doing some research I think it is clear that a Federal ICE officer shot himself, which I think is a tragedy and shows the alarming rise in suicides in America.

Now as for the suicide note, I am not sure I am convinced of its existence, and even if it did exist that does not prove that it was factual and not the ramblings of someone who was mentally disturbed.

The note mentions Executive Order 13603

The suicide note goes to great lengths about Executive Order #13603 signed by President Obama on March 16, 2012. The note details:

* “All commodities and products that are capable of being ingested by either human beings or animals”

* “All forms of energy”

* “All forms of civil transportation”

* “All usable water from all sources”

* “Health resources – drugs, biological products, medical devices, materials, facilities, health supplies, services and equipment”

* Forced labor ( or “induction” as the executive order delicately refers to military conscription)

Moreover, federal officials would “issue regulations to prioritize and allocate resources.”

SuperStation95 took a look at this Executive Order from the Government Printing Office (GPO) web site and, sure enough, everything contained in the Officer's suicide note about this Executive Order is true!
From Superstation95

I read the executive order, and it's purpose seemed clear to me:

This order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (the "Act").

It does not create any new authorities or outline any real plans. Just says that the president will delegate a lot of decision making to the agencies that shuold be making those decisions.

As far as the FEMA death camps and all the other jazz, it seemed really old hat to me. Not that it could not be true.

Now to Kim LaCapria of Snoops.com. She still works for facebook, I would link to it, but I think her site is against T&C cause it's a personal facebook page. She is a content manager for Snoops.com which seems to be in some sorta partnership with Facebook. Thus, LaCapria is about as reliable as Facebook... not so much.

The real shame is that a person killed themselves and most people are so busy trying to affirm their own theories instead of asking why this happened and how can we help those out there who might be thinking of killing themselves.

Besides, if worst comes to worst, I'm sure you'll find lots of smores just laying about to be picked up.

I don't know snopes.com...what are they are government propaganda website or something?

Reading between the lines at what some of you are posting, if true, i would be HIGHLY suspicious of anything snopes.com said.

As for the note, If the purported content IS accurate, i see absolutely no way that the government or any of it's associated agencies would ever say anything but issue denials...which is what they're doing.

In an economic meltdown, what reason would there be for the government to come after US citizens referred to as 'preppers'?

If nothing else, these would be people of foresight and planning, valuable members of society, especially in a disaster scenario...why would any government wish to come for that particular group? A prepper would more that likely be keeping him or herself to themselves and out of the way..why would they be considered a threat? After all, they are basically hedging their bets trying to ensure survival and not going on any kind of mad rampage, demanding aid and food like most non-preppers would be when they found themselves wanting...doesn't make a lot of sense.

Unless...a government didn't want many people surviving a particular disaster scenario, then it would make perfect sense.

If Snopes raced to 'debunk' it, there must be truth to the story. I say this with confidence because I've proven Snopes wrong with FOIA requests before...not that they would ever retract any of their disinfo.

Factcheck and Politifact are just as bad, btw.

They're all self-proclaimed watchdogs that betray the public.

you say you are "highly skeptical of snopes and yet if someone sees their debunking as meaningless that is ignorant?

Being skeptical of information is not the same as labeling it meaningless. So yes, someone who just says something is meaningless without doing any research is in fact ignorant to information they may have yet to witness or uncover.

If many of us find their responses skeptical they become meaningless.

No, the responses become as questionable as their level of skepticism induces. Find the discrepancies in all sources and validate what can be proven with tangible evidence.

first and foremost friend i like your view, its to the point and you make solid observation. A true black and white take.

However, the government don't take a dump without a plan. And even so, I doubt highly that they would make such plans public to explain away an executive order. How many has Obama signed in his tenure? Lost count?

Thing is, this is a game of chess, and their pieces are almost in place for the check mate. When you fit all of the small but significant pieces of the puzzle together you get a larger picture that imply what the note stated could be in fact plausible.

you don't prepare for a tornado because one already ripped through your neighborhood, you do it because one has yet to come ripping through your neighborhood. Make sense? If you stare at the clouds long enough you realize soon enough that they just may form a tornado. And that's what this is about.

Most who carry a gun would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. The finger of this great nation is far from the pulse and jammed squarely in its south hole. Now, what the note states would be an enormous undertaking. And it would be hard to pull off without someone noticing. Yet its not an impossibility.

Those privy to that info are either on the team at bat, or they have serious ramifications for spilling the beans.

I suggest everyone do their own homework, but broaden your search. Look for everything to stock markets and gold futures, to failing banks, to marshal law, to the law enforcement gov surplus programs, to FEMA camps, economic collapse....put it all together and make your own decision. Whether there was or wasn't a note is irrelevant.

The info is out there, for how much longer i couldn't tell ya, but there is truth there. You may not like what you find.

This is after all a conspiracy website is it not? SO.....jump down the rabbit hole, what do you have to lose but a few hours of time?

Has anyone else noticed how many utility workers there have been along the power lines this month? Ask questions, and take note.

If there was a note, do you honestly think the gov would admit it? Most people that off themselves generally leave a note stating why.

I note a couple of things in the Snopes so called rebuttal. First off, the statement they say comes from the police, it is non committal about any note, and where it says, 'no note was found' is not in the body of the statement, it is a well seperated sentence at the bottom, and so is ambiguous.
Second, the writer of the piece Kim LaCapria, is thought by Snopes itself, to be a false ID, though Snopes saw fit to publish the entire article copied by Kim LaCpria from the radio site..which is a really cheesy thing to do.

Neither site gives any proof of a note one way or the other, while both sites lie in urban myth, or rumour territory.

My guess is that the only reason for Snopes pushing the rebuttal agenda is that there is an immediate political bias edge in this particular story that they wouldn't like, true or not.

Well this is certainly one of the more interesting ATS threads in a long time. After reading the rebuttal to the Snopes article I'm fairly convinced the agent did leave a note. However, that by no means proves what the note says is real. A man willing to kill himself is clearly not in a healthy state of mind and could have been suffering from delusions. But if that's the case then there shouldn't be any strong motive to suppress the existence of the note. Maybe they just don't want to put the government in a bad light but it seems to me quite a bit of effort has been put into making the note disappear.

What he wrote in that note doesn't immediately strike me as the rantings of a mad man because many of the things he says are based on facts. For example that executive order does seem very heavy handed, I remember reading an ATS thread about it back in 2012. And think about it, what's to stop another huge financial collapse like the one in '08. If that happened again, would they really be able to cover the trillions of dollars required to bail out the banks and other businesses again? Honestly I don't think they could and so maybe they have seriously prepared for a massive financial meltdown.

Having said all that, the skeptical side of me is still saying that the guy was embellishing the truth and suffering from some sort of mental condition. I mean why would one guy know so much about this highly classified plan when it would be highly compartmentalized. He says he did drills and training for a financial meltdown but he could have just pieced together the rest of his story by doing research on the internet. Just because he might have believed it doesn't necessarily make it true. Plus I doubt such an extensive plan wouldn't be leaked by many different people instead of just one guy.

I read the executive order, and it's purpose seemed clear to me:
---
It does not create any new authorities or outline any real plans. Just says that the president will delegate a lot of decision making to the agencies that shuold be making those decisions.

Wikipedia has the following to say about 13603:

The National Defense Resources Preparedness executive order (Executive Order 13603) is an order of the United States' President signed by President Barack Obama on March 16, 2012.[1] The purpose of this executive order is to delegate authority and address national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950.[2] Executive Order 13603 provides the framework and authority for the allocation or appropriation of resources, materials and services to promote national defense.[3]

Defense Production Act of 1950 has this statement in it.

The Act also authorizes the President to requisition property, force industry to expand production and the supply of basic resources, impose wage and price controls, settle labor disputes, control consumer and real estate credit, establish contractual priorities, and allocate raw materials towards national defense.[1]

Contrary to a few initial claims otherwise, the Order appears to update long-existing directives that have been issued as far back as the Truman Administration and makes no claim to allowing the federal government to confiscate private property or declare martial law.[4][5] In particular, this executive order removes the name of the Federal Emergency Management Agency from the previous orders, and replaces it with references to branches of the Department of Homeland Security, to bring the previous orders up to date with changes in the structure of the Federal Government.[5]

Executive Order 13603 - Wikipedia

Of course they have to slap in that last paragraph to ease your fears that these excessive government powers would actually be used... except, I'm guessing, in a time of emergency. Funnily enough, this executive order states that Obama has declared a national emergency, and that EO was released about 3 months after 13603.

Well DAMNIT!! I just lost my entire post!!! But I agree with you Xeun! Perhaps he was forced to write that or that was found and then he was killed... But why invoke Snopes? If you want to prove something is a hoax, why not print it on "The onion"??

I think this is more of a "sleight of hand kind of thing"! Let's invoke fear in the public and keep them guessing, while the real agenda goes down, whatever that may be!

I do have a couple of questions though....Why did the government buy up so much ammunition? A couple of years ago this was all over the news and then NOTHING.....Silence as in "crickets"!! Why did they buy hollow point bullets? A hollow point bullet is designed to kill NOT maim!

Any thoughts on this??

Great to see you!
