So dishonesty is now an ATTRACTIVE trait for candidates? funny how everything that use to be BAD is now lauded by Trump supporters.

My how you "conservatives" have fallen

Sure looks like the open dishonesty is the new normal.

All the main party candidates have and are doing it.

Guess there's nothing else left.

You could argue that to lesser or greater degrees, yes that is true........So whats the excuse for going for the one who does it far more than any of the other 16 candidates we had?

Answer: there is none

Well OK.

Your ad-homs are fine with me as long as there's nothing left to attack.

Say nothing about this year's twisted campaign tactics.

It's trolling. Nothing more, nothing less.

And you fell for it, then attempted trolling yourself.

The true Trump supporters will have the answers soon enough.

Could be the extra media coverage Trump is getting.

There is plenty more to attack. Problem is, I cannot tell people the truth.

T&C's and that kind of stuff, ya know.

Medikated is a staunch Trump supporter.

There was no sarcasm involved at all.

You're picking a fight where there is none.

That's the other issue...defending trumps duplicity requires his supporters to sometimes say things that you initially think must be humor, when they are actually serious.

It ties into the reason comedians are struggling with lampooning Trump..How do you make a comedic character out of someone who is already that outrageous?

So human beings in politics aren't allowed to evolve like us regular people? I have changed my mind on many things over the years. I would hardly call it a flip flop as I consider it an evolution that comes with time and wisdom.

Also, aren't you in favor or Trump's new position? I think you would be glad he came around to your point of view and perhaps you should be praising him for his new enlightened perspective.

Lol good point, Indigo my friend.

I even saw a Trump supporter the other day say "I don't agree with everything he says, but torture is fine by me"...

It's like "WHAT???"...

If you don't disagree with that why disagree with anything the man says.

I do see the comedic value to his campaign though, the debates had me in hysterics.

If you can't tell people the truth within the T&C then that sounds like your problem not someone elses. Perhaps you will be able to mature at some point and use a more civil tongue.

So if this was a thread about Hillary wanting to build a wall because she'd "seen the light" you wouldn't all be talking about her flip flopping???

Trump supporters are hilarious, as Indigo has succinctly pointed out.

I do not believe this is Trumps new position and there-in lies the rub. He will say what-ever he thinks will be approved of by his given audience of the minute, hour or day. One thing during a GOP debate, another thing during an interview the following day and then a 3rd with a press release. There is no "position" with Trump, only turrets like pandering.

Specifically regarding economic policy...there is a reason the fed's talks are so scripted and boring, because US Markets and businesses react and they like predictability. Trump's rapid fire dramatic flip-flops on his economic policy spikes economic uncertainty. As a President, his words alone would panic markets and effect business planning. All of that before discussing what his erratic and daily changing positions would do to foreign policy.

Along those lines, Jon Stewart piped in finally..

“I’m not a constitutional scholar, so I can’t necessarily say, but are you eligible to run if you are a man-baby, or a baby-man?” Stewart said during a taping of Axelrod's "The Axe Files" podcast. “He has the physical countenance of a man and a baby’s temperament and hands.”

I think your living in fantasy land.

He has kept many of his positions and they have been very controversial.

Abortion, minimum wage who cares they aren't issues as need Trump to fix. We need a strong leader to advance our position with Chin and Mexico and to have the balls to take care of immigration.

He doesn't have all the answers but he has some fresh ideas and it's things that none of these others politicians have the balls to touch.

Fantasy land.

Flip flop? Hmm, what does this term mean? It sounds completely new. Is this something that other politicians have done before? What could possibly be gained by this " flip flop" technique?

Is it a republican thing or just what racist-xenophobic-sexist-bigots say?

Surely Madame Clinton has never done anything like this, right?

Puleeez!

I was going to say the same thing. Did he just get new information that cause him to change his stance? That's natural. Give me more information and I'll evolve and change what I'm doing. I never like the Waffle or flip-flop comments about politicians...you have to look closely at why they change. Some, of course, Is pandering to voters and nothing more than trying to get votes and others is based on an informed decision that makes sense.

Please. I've tried to use a mature, civil tongue when discussing issues and it gets no where...fast.

It's very popular around her to use hyperbole, personal attacks and throw facts to the wind.

You know that. So spare me the condescending hypocrisy.
