We get quite a variety of birds around here. Mostly sparrows and starlings. We have cardinals and woodpeckers and owls and house finches, mourning doves, or is that morning doves? Even hawks flying high above every day. Many kinds of birds.

I guess they should be, to a Degree.

I have to wait for two weeks and I think I'm going to go just a tad (fill in word here) with the wait of anticipation.

For a weird side note, I came across a video of me in my garden up north and one of my cats had walked into the view so of course I said hello. The odd thing was right after, I heard this familiar tiny meow and I said hello to TomTom but he wasn't in view. TomTom was quite the character of cats, a stray that we had saved. He has passed on. To hear the little mew again out of the clear blue was heartbreaking, but also a joy if that made sense.

The reason I have brought this tale, (tail) up is because I have friend who needs to find her kitties homes, because her wife just had a double lung transplant and they can't keep the cats. The one I'm going to take to help out is the last one they have left and is a TomTom look alike.

So, after months of pretty much nothing, I have my crazy cat showing back up in a off sort of way, and my daughter coming to visit. Be still my heart....

Kim, what a cool story about hearing your deceased cat! I'm so glad you will taking one of your friend's cats! And I am so happy for you to be seeing your daughter in a couple of weeks!
