LOL...I've known for a long time that you only see what you want to see, Introvert. Go Fish!
The IRS is struggling to ensure that illegal immigrants are able to illegally use Social Security numbers for legitimate purposes, the agency's head told senators on Tuesday, without allowing the numbers to be used for "bad" reasons.
Well, if your SSN is being illegally used by an illegal immigrant to illegally file illegal tax returns...the IRS will not only 'look the other way'...but, according to the IRS Commissioner, encourages this illegal activity...as long as you're an illegal immigrant!
So.... what happens when it is time to retire? Who's social security benefits are they stealing? What happens when they apply for a credit card? Loans? Health insurance? Who's credit rating are they ruining? Seriously, the stupidity of the IRS boggles the mind. As long as the government gets their taxes, who cares about the little people?
More Mexicans are leaving than moving into the United States, reversing the flow of a half-century of mass migration, according to a study published Thursday.
The Pew Research Center found that slightly more than 1 million Mexicans and their families, including American-born children, left the U.S. for Mexico from 2009 to 2014. During the same five years, 870,000 Mexicans came to the U.S., resulting in a net flow to Mexico of 140,000.
"What happens in these situations is someone is using a Social Security number to get a job, but they're filing their tax return with their [taxpayer identification number]." What that means, he said, is that "they are undocumented aliens … . They're paying taxes. It's in everybody's interest to have them pay the taxes they owe."
As long as the information is being used only to fraudulently obtain jobs, Koskinen said, rather than to claim false tax returns, the agency has an interest in helping them.
