It appears a Ted Cruz sex scandal is trending on twitter

Looks like about 86,000 tweets. Gawker has picked it up and I saw a journalist mention that two of the women named were correct.





I sort of doubt this guy working for the Washington Times is going to be lying.

The actual story—which is not online, but which Gawker has obtained a copy of—does not name any of the women with whom Cruz purportedly was involved. Descriptions are given for each, however, and at least one should sound very familiar to folks who have been following this election.

The buzz focuses on Cruz and Tea Party activist Katrina Pierson. Pierson is a former consultant for Cruz’s United States Senate campaign and is now the national spokeswoman for businessman Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, which makes this a particularly uncomfortable situation.

You may recognize her as a Trump spokeswoman.

Anyone think this is all a little convenient given the weirdly harsh reaction Cruz had after Trump mentioned secrets about his wife? Perhaps Trumps spokeswoman already spilled the beans.

Keep in mind that while NE is obviously a rag, they are VERY good at getting these stories right, and won an award outing Edwards. Also considering Gawkers recent lawsuit I kinda doubt their doing this unless their sure they aren't getting sued.

I've been following it on twitter most of the night, and it seems several reporters and new outlets had know about this some since at least February.

I dunno, it's Twitter so I'm going with it's BS until proven otherwise. Gawker, who just lost millions upon millions to Hulk Hogan for that sex tape can go screw themselves. The head of Gawker doesn't even apologize for airing that video so I'm not surprised they're picking up on Twitter BS.

That said, the political mud slinging ad about Trump's wife didn't come from the Cruz camp, right? That's what so funny about all of this, Trump is yelling at Cruz for something he didn't do.

Actually Cruz did denounce it, almost immediately. And it wasn't a Cruz campaign that did it

Denounce it? Why does he have to? He didn't make Trump's wife pose for GQ or put out that ad. This is just another fine example of Trump's oh so thin skin.

It's amazing how much power 1 tweet has. But yeah this is all Trumps fault because Lyin' Ted couldn't keep his dick in his pants.

Maybe Cruz should've been paying attention to the groups putting out ads for his campaign and he could have slithered his way to the convention. Remember the porn star that was featured in one of his ads back in January? Ted is a mess.

Clinton is awful. Sanders is the only choice if you want someone to get money out of politics, end Citizens United, and actually try to fight the corruption that has a clear stranglehold over DC. You think Cruz or Trump are fight that good fight? Do you support war in the Middle East or are you tired of spending over $14 million an hour and feeding the Military Industrial Complex?

These issues concern me the most and no other candidate comes close to sorting them out than Sanders. You don't like him because he's a socialist and being American we find that word scary.

I can't believe you voted for Trump. That vote just put all of us in danger. Thank god, so far, he continues to lose to both Clinton and Sanders in the big race.
