Trump refusing to do the debates is him whining while calling it 'being tough'.
It was over a news article by a writer which said some pretty unprofessional stuff to be honest. But Trump stomped out and took his ball home with him.
But I say the entire GOP field should boycott Fox because apparently they plan on having a YouTube famous Illegal Immigrant featured to ask a question to the candidates as a "gotcha".
Nope

Albeit attempting to straw from the slippery slope fallacy, I can't help but ask how Trump would respond in high-stress situations, and in particular ones involving topics and/or people who doesn't agree with?
Would you simply cease any diplomacy and do as he's done here? Again - slippery slope fallacy, I'm not playing coy, and this is hypothetical - although I find it to be a reasonable assumption to make.
But then again, I don't see this as walking away from a bad deal - I see it as walking away, which is something I would aspire a POTUS to not do. Stand fast and strong, despite opposition and always attempt to transcend differences in order to alleviate issues, therefore allowing diplomacy to take form.
I hardly see Trump as a diplomatic man, I see him as an egotist who has a view of "my high or the highway," in which simply does not work in politics.
I'm not arguing for or against Trump and his leadership/diplomacy abilities. I am saying if the voters accept his premise that this is about business and walking away from a bad deal then it will work for him. If they do not, it will work against him.
In the business world, what he is doing works well. If you perceive a business deal is bad and you gain nothing from the deal, you walk away. Do the voters want the country to be run as a business? That is the question that will answer if this decision works in his favor or not.

What? Your answer to me is a picture of Donald using a veteran as a photo op? I'm not impressed. He's been using these guys as political pawns all along...

Kinda like hugging and slobbering all over the defector's parents in the rose garden ? Too bad that just made every military member who was not a defector hate obama even more.

Every military member who was not a defector? That's a strong claim you are making. I happen to be a veteran and not a defector and I don't hate Obama. I don't love him, but I certainly don't hate him like most conservatives seem to think the country does.

Doesn't anyone ever wonder why the RNC sells these debates to hyper-liberal socialist-loving outlets, who hate republicans and conservatives ?
Somebody expects anything but gotcha questions, deliberately instigated brawls among the participants, and direct hate for individuals such Kelley shows for Trump ?
FOX is the only non-100% progressive leftist outlet, and even they trot out Kelley to get Trump.

Veteran's Group Won't Take Trump Fundraiser Donations
he head of an Iraq and Afghanistan veterans group says they will decline donations from the fundraising event Donald Trump plans to hold Thursday night as he sits out the Republican primary debate.
...
If offered, @IAVA will decline donations from Trump's event. We need strong policies from candidates, not to be used for political stunts.
...
Now it's Cruz yanking vets into the nastiness of the presidential fights before Iowa. This is not what vets need.

Yeah.
People stopped having faith in corporate-owned media LONG ago.
It still absolutely baffles me at how some people consider scripted programming to be anything but scripted programming.
You are just now withdrawing all support from Fox? I stopped taking my television seriously YEARS ago.

I wonder what all the other vets and their families, especially the ones that donate to this bunch, think about the head honcho turning down contributions that their fellow Americans rallied to raise for them. Some of them are probably thinking their head guy is awfully partisan politically.
