Two hospitals taking in victims. Three victims being brought out of the building, on the way to the hospital.

Could have been a traffic incident, a domestic dispute or anything. I think it's natural to think this is probably an anti-planned parenthood thing. But we should keep an open mind until we learn more, which I'm sure we will soon do.

a reply to: MajorAce Isn't this the case. From a Christian viewpoint we are taught to put down the sword. Which leads to bands of headchoppers roaming around the planet. Quite a conundrum.

So much of this jumping to conclusions in this thread so far is nuts.

This could be someone who just ran into the building.

Or a jealous ex of someone who works there.

Or anything else at this point.

Oh, and "contained" means just that...he's contained in the building. As in hasn't left it. Is pinned down.

Suspect is in the clinic but now police don't know where exactly in the clinic he is.

Breaking911 is reporting the shooter is a white male with a beard decked out in hunting gear.

Same site is reporting one person dead in the parking lot. One officer shot in the hand and another with unspecified GSW. Also reporting shooter is now barricaded inside.

Yes. The initial call for help came from PP and now the gunmen is inside the clinic.

Unknown number of civilian injuries. Still active situation. Long gun. Can't confirm shooter's location.

Local news reporting that shelter in place still in effect in case a second gunman involved.

That does not 100% verify its about PP.

Watching the live stream indicated that she , the lieutenant speaking, had no idea where the gunman is.

3 officers shot with an unknown amount of civilians injured...

They're not even sure if it happened at different businesses and now saying that they're not sure he's contained and there is the possibility of hostages.

USA on track for more mass shooting this year than there are days in the year. Sad.

CSPD public info officer confirms the initial 911 call came from the clinic.

CBSNews stream reports Homeland Security said the shooter is in control of the building, and they are concerned he has explosives.

I am honestly impressed at how the media im watching is talking about this incident, there trying really hard to not make assumptions, what a breath of fresh air.

Agreed. We need to wait for good info before we begin to point fingers.

There are almost always protesters there at the corner of Centennial and the road that goes to that clinic. I get groceries at the store that is right by this clinic and see them with regularity. They are usually older folk, sometimes there's a priest with them, and I've never seen them do anything other than stand there and pray... So I would guess this individual is not a part of that group.

In other news, I apparently need to move...

I'm sure the report of the shooter being "contained", meant that the shooter was holed up in the clinic. They never reported that he was in custody. In fact, one report is that the gunman is "in control of" the building.
