For decades it has been assumed that Nuclear war will be the end of times. Has anybody considered that it may happen AFTER this? For the time being, Israel still has US support, whether it looks like that or not. Someone else said Russia wasn't mentioned in this script, i have neither confirmed or unconfirmed this. But maybe a nuclear war isn't nothing more than a chain of events that leads to the end of the world, if even that. In this scenario, the US will lose the abililty to protect Israel or anybody else for that matter. Einstien said WWIV would be fought with sticks and stones. Maybe the actual end of days will be fought this way. Just wanted to drop that into the equation. There are bound to be survivors, especially with all the preppers out there. Maybenuclear war won't be the end of the world, but it could be the end of modern civilization. At this point, all treaties are null, and the technology that defines a superpower nations will be gone. It'll be back to the size of your army and what weapons you have available. Nuclear war might be the beginning of the end of times, but I don't think it will be the end. Seven years of peace? After a nuke war, there will likely be a short period of time where nobody is doing anything, other than trying to survive, without means to take on another nation on a large scale. I could be wrong, it could be tomorrow, it could be 500 years from now. But so many automatically link WW3 to the bible, when maybe it's just one piece of a much larger outcome, if that.

Its about time 'the west' stopped depending on oil and natural gas, then 'the west' can leave the middle east to sort itself out, so 'the west' can save blood and material, lastly, money.

No its not it, people have been saying this is it for thousands of years.

WW3 is a non-starter.

I have long said; large scale, multi-theater, conventional warfare such as WW2 in the presence of nuclear weapons is not possible.

It just isn't.

"World War" became obsolete on 6 August 1945.

Every 'war' which has taken place since then has been nothing more than a political 'game' with human lives being the pawns.

What is really happening may be uber-sophisticated with people playing both sides of the fence.

As the world has no hope of survival as Russia, Israel, U.S. and NATO are set to nuke nuke it out he steps out and claims he stopped the Russian missiles in mid-air and proclaims himself to be God, although something like that could only be done by the one true God and he would never let any nukes hit Israel.

Turkeys Prime Minister called for this war back in May of this year. He said all Arabs should unite in a new Caliphate and invade Israel.

Any question who is running ISIS now???

Not really, Putin is supposed to pretend to be the bad guy destroying Assad rebel forces (Saudi backed?) the USA attacks ISIS forces and Assad's regular army. I am certain the fate of Syria *lies* in the hands of Putin. There is nothing to be gained here but a strategic land mass GRAB by Russia. Watch out Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan. I think Putin and Obama have a secret agreement, destabilize the area into complete chaos and ruin. Russia becomes a world power with the US and in so being (seemingly enemies) makes a pact regarding the very dangerous Chinese. Nice Mandelbrot reference.
