So the long established thought is that as you see a ship sailing away from you, it's observable that the bottom starts to disappear as distance increases.

But what you don't know is that if you busted out a high power telescope, you'd be able to see much more of the ship and for a way further distance.

It has to do with the way light bends, yes, but not including curvature.

False. I was raised in, on, and around the ocean. I've "busted out" a telescope many times.

Hello kitty is also using a GpPro camera, which uses a 'fish-eye" lens.
Try this video, which shows 3 different launches, the 1st one being NASA with their GoPro camera and the other two are amateur launches with regular lenses.

If the Earth is flat, then why has the edge not been identified? Where is it? Don't you think it would have been discovered by now?

Any object placed in space, if there long enough will become round. Like our Moon. It wasn't ripped off the Earth perfectly round. It became round over a period of time, like most celestial bodies.

How do you justify photo's from ISS? Or... not even that high. For Christ's sake you can see the Earth's curvature from an airplane at times.

Do you honestly believe the Earth is flat? Seriously. Have you ever been at a high altitude in a plane?

Some are, definitely.

I haven't really figured out the flatearthers. I think a lot of them are but I'm not sure why they want to believe the world is flat so badly.

I tried to avoid replying to your comments due to the fact you loudly proclaim ignorance in the subject.

Honestly, when I started hearing questionable # it was way easier to call people crazy than to even look.

But after having so many people to tell me to just LOOK into it. I'm convinced there's deception a foot.

Take a look at what the weather service, geological service, military, UN, and others official maps are and you'll be astounded. that's where it started with me.
