Another thing about Trump is that in the past he was liberal on the issues

I don’t know what he believes now but he wasn’t a conservative at all.

On universal health care he said, “we got to take care of our people”

On free trade he was actually better than Obama and the butt kissing GOP

On abortion he was for it

On Iraq he was harder on Bush than the Democrats like Hillary

So it’s strange that Cruz, the tea party and the GOP base like him.

I know its for immigration but

Something weird is going on here, I don’t precisely know what but something is in the mix

All valid points!

He has actually brought out the worst of American politicians by showing not only our citizens but the rest of the world how our Federal government is nothing but a Circus of clowns!

Perhaps the veil of deception has been lifted a bit?

I really don't know what to think at this point, but if we are going to go down like Greece? Might as well have a few chuckles as it all burns?

I did a calculation on our debt! I took 19 Trillion dollars and divided it by 325,000,000 population, and it came out that EVERY person in the United States would have to PAY $58,461 dollars to get our country at ground 0 on the financial ledger!

Won't happen, can't happen! Buckle up and find some humor on the ride!

That’s it folks, I just thought about it.

Trump is like the guy in that movie Bulworth…
Remember that movie with Warren Beatty who was a senator and all of a sudden he started speaking the truth rather than the ordinary political bs

Heres a synopsis

Jay Bulworth (Warren Beatty), a financially ruined senator, is now disillusioned with politics. The forlorn statesman orders a contract killing -- the target himself -- so his family will be able to collect a fortune from his insurance policy. Facing imminent death, a devil-may-care Bulworth speaks his mind in public, forsaking platitudes for honest but controversial observations. But when he falls in love with a hip young woman (Halle Berry), Bulworth urgently rethinks his impending murder.

How classy of a future president.

I'm sure all the POWs and troops captured in Afghanistan & Iraq or Nam & WWII can't wait to vote for this guy.

To be fair....McCain has taken it on himself to attack Donald.

It may not been the way I would of done it.

But, John McCain is a part of the problem. 40 years in the Senate ?

What has he done ?

If Donald really wanted to be a dick, he could also bring up the Forrestal fire.

McCain can't rest on his military service--he's got 40 years a s a politician to criticize him about.

What astonishes me is how well Trump is doing in the polls.

I think Mencken's quote is quite appropriate in The Donalds case.

Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.

Perhaps America deserves Trump! He certainly fits the bill as a Cultural icon.

OK......This is so wrong......But it made me spit out my soda laughing. In this upside down left is right world we need a leader like this.........He should hire me I could help him point this in the right directions.

He is missing direction and context......If he could gain these he would be unstoppable.

This was the same response I had. Snort, choke, guffaw OMG that's so wrong. My first thought after clearing my sinuses of Ginger Ale was he was making reference to McCain being known as Songbird for singing classified info while he was a POW. I didn't take it as a dig at all POW's but it's easy to see why some will take it that way.

We are looking for a leader. Someone who will not lie and deceive us.

Somebody that loves America. Remember "Iran is a tiny Country" ?

That tiny Country just made our leaders look like fools.

We need a Leader...And, I don't give a damn what Party they come from.

Besides, Trump isn't a lawyer--everybody's tired of lawyers running things.

Trump will peter out. He's just the new flavor and something different. The enthusiasm will fade.

Save the partisanship.

I care nothing for left and right and everything for right and wrong...

This is wrong.

I have to for once rarely agree with you.

I despise McCain and I think Vietnam was a crime....

But trump insult was wrong and unprofessional.

A TRUE leader that will deliver our Republic from the hands of the Global Banksters will TRULY cause revolt! Promises of making our country better while accruing a debt so astronomical that to repay it is impossible due to the current fiat banking system, will require GREAT suffering from everyone!

I don't see it happening........

The majority of Americans will resort to slitting their wrists before they have to live in a status such as those who live in a third world country!

Hell, shut down all cell phone towers for 1 week and watch suicides sky rocket!

That would be nice but....

America doesn't want a "real" leader they prefer macho, bluster, loud mouth clowns, and charlatans. Just look on ATS at all the members defending that clown; some in this very thread.
Reality doesn't exist in Americas current political climate. It's about perception, marketing, sound bites, showmanship, notoriety, etc. Americans don't want to be lead, they want to be entertained. Trump is perfect, he certainly has the credentials in that regard. Rush likes him! That might even be enough for him to get the GOP nomination. I've changed my mind...Trump is the perfect GOP candidate.
Crazy times, eh?

I do see it...

Maybe you are too young or just don't remember our true greatness when we are united.

We will rise again. We will raise the Free World with us through strength.

When it comes to Politics on any level. Being a wimp never produces results.

It gives our enemies false hope.

Trump's next line to Mccain...

"I like people who didn't kill 134 sailors by blowing up the USS Forrestal due to his own incompetence..."

See how that goes over.

I do find Trump's brutal, almost stupid, self-immolating lack of political correctness to be totally refreshing and warranted in these times of universall deceit.

I also agree that the longer he stays in the race the more hilarious moments like this we''ll get to witness, and since I stopped deluding myself into believing that any of it was real about 10 years ago, what's the harm if the Trumpster wants to make them all into even bigger spectacles of themselves? No skin off my nose. I love the way he makes people squirm lol.

Could you imagine him in the debates, or going head to head with Hillary? Better entertainment than fiction, I tell you.

McCain was saying some brutal things about Trump.

Trump is guilty of bad manners. I'll give you that.

McCain is guilty of spending 40 years amassing a fortune all on our dime.

You know, it's time for some bad manners in DC.

That's what makes listening to those two so much fun.......neither one has a filter and both think they can say what they want because of their differing contributions to this country. A battle of the ego's.

But think of it this way.....Trump earned his money by working to maintain and expand upon what was given to him by his dad........Real Estate. McCain acquired his money through lobbyists over the past 40 years. Which is more respectable?

If Trump does nothing as President for 8 years except shake up and drag out the status quo in Washington and replace them with business leaders, that alone is worth my vote. Then and only then can we start to instigate real change in this country.

I'll leave with this......there is no school you go to in order to learn how be President. There are no educational qualifications. Where is it written that you HAVE to be a politician to run this country? Or HAVE to get a law degree? What, exactly, are the duties of a President..........to relegate certain jobs to people and then oversee and correct if needed, what they do? Sounds like a boss to me. Since this world is run more by business deals than legal battles......Money is King........it makes sense to get a business leader in charge to make the big decisions and then get business lawyers in various positions of his cabinet to make sure it's as on the up and up as possible in this dirty old world.

Washington.............you're fired.

All BS aside...Could you imagine Trump winning the nomination ?

I can't see it. However, Trump is eating up these adoring rallies.

I am starting to see him getting addicted to the attention.

It's starting to look like a Third Party run.

True that....

Politics in the US is like seeing a 5 car pile up on the interstate. Bodies, blood and guts all over the place; as horrible ass it is...you just can't stop looking.

I'm 52 brother!

I served and I hate ALL politicians! They make promises they know they can't keep because they are bound to repaying the BIG money that bought and paid for their election!

I don't believe in God neither, because I prefer to be free and I choose to worship the Constitution instead! As far as I see it? At this point we have a bunch of bought and paid for prostitutes in our Federal government that our doing everything within their power to destroy our sovereignty so that we can become just like our brothers/sisters across the pond in the EU.

Take a gander at Greece and how it riled up Merkel.

Trump reminds me a bit of that loud mouthed, boat rocking, self purposing president named Teddy Roosevelt.
i dont know..sometimes rocking the boat can wake people up...and sometimes it just knocks everybody out of the boat.

True and McCain is one of them, I remember having his back on other forums, but he is now nothing but a career politician in my eyes and I lost all respect for him.

Not sure what Trump is up to , but if both sides hate him, perhaps he is onto something, although he has either changed his mind or is lying about a few issues.
