Realize? Or imagine. There is a difference and your brief rant against the administration has nothing to do with the topic.
it is not hard to realize that many more may have / have been successful in crossing and are in the muslim communities now
radicalizing others or disgruntled yuoth to their cause.

That's all well and good.
But that isn't what you stated here, in this thread.
You laid it at the feet of the event organizers.
Like they should have not practiced they right to free speech.
Which is the reason for my comments.
Showing up with guns is definitely not good form. This could have been prevented if the event never happened at all. Thank goodness nobody else was hurt. Sad the one Garland ISD officer was injured.

If you're going to have a cartoon contest where the sole subject is the Prophet Mohammed, you're going to attract the ire of the Muslim community.
The organizers KNEW that this was going to create a problem, and went ahead with it anyway.
The organizers are totally responsible for the deaths of the people who were shot. Even if they didn't pull the trigger, the security guards wouldn't have been needed had this ridiculous contest not taken place.
Approximately twenty minutes before a shooting at an event to promote free speech in Garland, Texas, which resulted in an injured officer and two dead suspects, a radical jihadist account on Twitter posted that a person was with another individual and insinuated that he was planning to sacrifice his life to Islam’s “Allah,” using the hashtag #texasattack.
...
The Twitter account of the individual in question, @atawaakul, sports the username, “Shariah Is Life,” and has expressed many pro-Islamic State sentiments on its timeline.
A photo of Anwar Al Awlaki, the deceased Al Qaeda master recruiter, is displayed as the Twitter user’s profile picture.
