A video showing MUSLIM bakeries in Deaborn Michigan refusing to bake a wedding cake for a guy's gay wedding.

That will never EVER see the evening news. Why? Because they aren't white Christians denying anyone anything. It's impossible to be homophobic or racist if you are anything other than white. Minorities can crap on minorities with impunity. You can see that in action right here...

If it's wrong for one segment to do it, then it should be wrong for all to do it, yes?

ETA - Not only did they refuse to do the cake, some of them acted with open derision and laughter. I am shocked to see anyone act like that really. Even if you didn't want to do it, you could say so with some modicum of respect for your fellow human being instead of acting like they didn't even deserve to stand near you.

I agree; there are double-standards when it comes to holding all religious zealots accountable to civil rights. I think that will change as the Muslim demographic increases in The States. Right now, they are low on the radar in comparison to the very visible Christian institutions in the west. Being the standard accepted religion in a large cultural region like America has the drawback of being under the microscope for injustices that other, lesser-seen, religions perpetrate every day.

I really like how before anyone even has a chance to say anything at all about the video or the topic you are already starting in with the pity party for yourselves and persecution BS.

I think it shows the similarity of mentality that comes from certain religious faiths and how they are all idiots who apparently shouldn't be baking cakes.

I also wonder if the Christian Defense Brigade we see in every thread will come in here and defend the "right of these Muslim bakeries to deny service to anyone."

I hate every religion equally and I don't think that any religion should be exempt from the same scrutiny that Christians receive.
