Yeah....with extra emphasis on "sometimes".

Sometimes a rock is just a dead rat.... according to Scott Waring.

Oh that old chestnut, nice try.

But that's not what I was on about was it?

In fact you drifted into your own world there mate.

Also that's a pareidolia face, if can you see a spaceship, then I suggest specsavers

Im putting my hands up here and saying i got that wrong.
This comment here is what i should have said,

The only thing you can accuse the person of, is sensationalized video titles.

Ive gone to his youtube channel and i didnt see any deliberate hoaxes.

I confused him with someone else who does put out a lot of hoax video's.
I went to the thread i linked to to see if his name was on there which it is. So i then went and wrote that post.

Like i said i got it wrong and i acknowledge that

Be wery wary of Waring (said with best Elmer Fudd lisp).

Well, the photo seems to exist outside of his domain... so wary or not, it ain't a total hoax.

Misidentified? Sure... fuzzy thread somehow stuck to the lens in the depths of space and only showing up rarely? Not so likely.

Cosmic ray hitting the SOHO before continuing on and granting super powers (or leukemia) to some Earthling? Maybe.

Huge "moon size" spaceship stopping for a top-off before setting out for the long, boring stretch to Cylokon 4? No idea.

Remarkable similarity to the 8 bit Colonial Viper, tho...

the point is still valid.

our minds are wired a certain way. And that way is to recognize faces.

That's why people see things in clouds. Faces in rocks and Jesus in toast.

How many threads aren't started on this site that claim they found an alien on mars. And it's just a rock.

yes sir.

When you find the alien ship in space call me.

I won't hold my breath though.

Can you debunk this? I normally dump all over these, but this is certainly intriguing. I understand your skepticism, but I do not see any real argument as to the invalidity of the pics, which do in fact appear on an official NASA website...

Meh..

I've taken my time looking at those solar images a while ago over a period of time.

I was interested in seeing if I could notice anything of interest.

All i saw was things streaking by and data artifacts.

if you look on google images you'll see a bunch of these things.

goo.gl...

I don't think it's aliens. It's probably some data artifact.

Not all disagreeing with your assessment, but I do have to ask how we verify a "data artifact." You know what I mean? How do we know, other than saying "Oh that's a data artifact" that yes it is simply an artifact. Apologies if this is a genuinely stupid question and thanks for the responses.

Could be our own secret space program? We might have craft up there that NASA isn't even aware of. If they're more advanced than NASA, they might know how to go about not getting spotted most of the time.

Sounds like a cosmic strike on the lens..

Especially when he's says that it suddenly appears and vanishes as fast as it appears.

I really don't know.

I guess you'd have to get some video evidence. not just a time lapse shot.

I have to admit, this does not look like any other cosmic ray strike I have seen. Not saying it isn't one, I'm just saying that logically they should all look pretty much the same, right? As always, I could be way off base here and am just looking for an answer or as close to one as I can get, lol...
