I think your the one missing much of the point of many people here. Most of us believe that on the internet there is a decided problem with everyone out to offend everyone else...

It doesn't matter who you are... people will threaten you, belittle you, hell even use your story to suit themselves. Men get is as much as women. I have personally sat and seen my husband be threatened - I have seen him threatened more often than I have seen myself threatened....

He is a man, and he takes it like men take everything.. no sweat.. turn it off, ignore it, whatever. What he does not do, is cry about it.

Then a feminist comes along - the same one who is pissed off that women think naked women are art - and sees the same type of thing my husband and I have witnessed concerning the evil and threatening nature of many people online..

But she doesn't take it the same way a man does... she throws this big fit, crying and screaming and say how the internet should be censored and rather than her shutting it off, or leave the more offensive parts of the internet all together.

THAT is the difference, and therein lies the issue.

I'm on the internet everyday and have yet once see a women threatened with rape, or violence (seen plenty of men threatened by violence), or anything worse than the he-man's women hating club over at some the dating sites. I'm not saying i doesnt happen, but christ man I think you're making this sound 100x worse than it is. A big fraction if American women have honestly become a disgusting breed of nose turned up, disrespectful, what can you do for me types who are in a perpetual state of manipulating others. It sucks having to look for the normal ones to date through crowds of women who just straight up suck as people. The older generation had some real quality female role models and didn't have the inflamed social media ego. I don't think you understand that guys are just reacting to being # on by these kinds of women. And I know, not all women, not by a long shot, are like this, well honestly I'm just saying that. It's close to feaking 80% ages 17-23 now. I will return to my lair now, destroy me with your anger but I'm just trying to bring some enlightenment as to why you think men are becoming evil rapists.

many years ago, a guy threatened to drive to where i live and shoot me in the back of the head. he claimed he was roleplaying, after my husband told him he was going to call the police on him. i've been stalked and harassed but it's part and parcel of having an opinion in a global environment.

True, although the figures vary from club to club. Where I worked, and bear in mind this was back in the 90's, the dancers made around 400 a night on weeknights, and around 600 or sometimes a little more on weekends - then again, that was a dive, and higher class clubs probably pulled in more money.

Sure enough, if some guy is prone to getting all starry-eyed and turning loose of his money, there will be someone there to grab it for him before it hits the ground, and, contrary to popular perception, women ARE a good deal more ruthless than men when it comes to that sort of thing.

While the girls were bringing in around 400 a night average, I had a friend who worked at the only male strip club in town, and who made around 300 a night average, according to him. I don't recall him agitating for equal pay at the time, though.

yes its true, feminazis are hurting women, but perhaps not for the reason you're assuming. the backlash, the social pendulum swing is the problem. the guys that manipulate public sentiment and the social stage, know this. they know that by abusing women who are beginning to see the light of reason and common sense, they can create a virulent strain that is so completely illogical and socially unjust, that the only response is an equally completely illogical and socially unjust swing in the opposite direction. THAT # HAS TO STOP!

In what you just said I notice how, once again, nothing is ever a woman's fault.

I'm sure it will get worse and worse. Some societies like the muslims. The men do not like wimen to form ANY opinion at all and should remain silent. Other cultures have the same opinions. The net has reached by far the many and all the cultural differences will clash and alot of MUD SLINGIN will occurr. Different upbringing will clash with others and an ugly head will form. This will give rise to physical violence and more people in jail and a slow disfunction of society that breaks down. With that said, Wimen should get use to the ignorance of some societies and learn more about the SEWING TECHNIQUES of the muslim culture and rights of muslim law and men. That is why i say that things will only get worse. SOCIETY, CULTURE SHOCK.

a bit of human nature plays into that. for example, the guy who was talking about posting a woman in a bikini in his cubicle being ostracized because it objectifies women.

well i worked in a pepsi factory when i was 18. i was still unmarried and after being approached and sexually harassed (women were being hired into the factory as a result of equal opportunity, for the first time and SOME of the guys were not happy about that), i bold faced told the guy i was a virgin and waiting till i got married for sex. this was apparently like a big neon sign (who woulda thunk it) and the sexual innuendos came out of the wood work.

one guy who was old enough to be my grandfather, drove a hi-lo and had to put pallet tags on the hi-log cargo before driving into the warehouse for deposit. instead of putting the tags on the pallets, he walked up to me and stuck them on my breasts. it shocked me to no end. for a moment i just looked down at them in disbelief, then peeled them away, and without looking at the guy, walked into the supervisor's office to lodge a complaint. some thing's you just have to do. he never bothered me again, however, that didn't stop some of the other guys there.

for example, while on my lunch break a couple guys took the centerfold from hustler magazine (which at the time was like the raunchiest porno mag on the legitimate market) and posted it on my work station so when i would come back from my lunch break, they could watch my reaction and snicker behind their hands and machines. well just so happened i had a male friend there who actually didn't mind that i was working there and was not trying to school me about sex, saw what they did, went up and took the thing down before i got back. then let me know that i should be prepared for other such schenanigans in the future. well, it didn't take long.

some guy kept following me around the factory. i went up to the lunch room to get a soda, and he followed me up the stairs, making sexual comments. i sat down in a chair to drink my soda, and when i got up, he started sniffing where i sat. i mean, really over the top stuff. yeah..

another guy who was working on a platform 10ft up in the air, brought a bra into work and dropped it on my head as i was working on the floor level. they apparently thought by shocking me with porno, aggressive sexual behaviors and lingerie, i would either quit or be coerced into being less of a "prude" cause 18 year old female virgins were unheard of in the 70s. what can i say, my mom was a good teacher.

to make a long story short: yeah that kinda thing can make women nervous, but a woman in a bikini, when you see tampon commericals and sports illustrated commmercials while watching prime time tv..gimme a break. it's just radicalized feminism, on purpose, to generate a backlash that feminazis are unaware they are creating.

well since my response was moderated and yours was not, i guess i have to actually entertain your accusation. i'm a feminist to the degree that i know my body parts have nothing to do with my value as a human being. that is sensible. if you think other wise, please read the rest of my posts in the thread, so you get a better idea of what it is i actually believe on this topic.
