What would determine the fact that an advanced alien civilization, let alone an individual of that civilization to be good or evil, or better yet selfish or selfless if we are really that political? Would it be just by sheer presence and the aura (by aura I mean impression) it gives off it that would determine that choice, were it ether felt weird or scary rather then peaceful or fluffy?

Beware the fluffy ones, they'd probably expect more.

By the posts on this side one can get the impression "not being from Earth" would already be enough to qualify as evil. Being a tiny bit different seems also be a sure way to show off how evil they are.
And then imagine, they wouldn't share all their tech and secrets and we Earthlings would have to pull our own cart out of the dirt, so evil....
They want to make us think! Kill 'em all dirty foreign bastards!

If I was an alien and viewed the history of the Human race I would avoid contact with this evil species of beings who wage war, death and destruction on each other throughout their entire history - Humans are a definite threat to the morality and well being of our alien children.

Hello AlienView:

There is that blogspot in your sig, though, that boosts your credibility. But humans, in general, are not a definite threat to the morality and well being of your alien children. Anytime All is used and claims of largesse, or all or nothing is used, it's pretty definitive that it(whatever) isn't true.

But, then again, if I say it, there will be a fairly extreme attempt to make me wrong, so…..

But you see what gets me is humans will hurl derisive remarks upon a hypothetical species that to date has never even be proven to exist !!! What is that old human saying: "People who live in glass house shouldn't thourgh stones!? And you might wonder how humans could talk about how evil these hypothetical aliens might be without first analyzing their history and 'the evil that men do'.

Don't just consider the possibility that they are far more intelligent
than you are. Also consider the possibility that you aren't intelligent
enough in all your, what? Forty years at the most? Of being conscious
of this universe?

Let me say this very plainly so you can understand it. YOU nor anyone
else knows what has been going on here. On earth, or out there.
But there is word from long ago that red flags your little friends. To ignore
it, is stupid.

Wait…are you talking about "human" history? Do you really think I do not know about human history and the evil that men do….really? You have to be kidding me. You have to. Surely.

I don't get what your deal is, at all. You take out single words or phrases of other peoples posts to show off how "smart" you are? Is that it? We are discussing a not prooven species, or a lot of them, and yet you find a way to make it all about yourself. Are you applauding to your face in a mirror, when writing things like that?

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Edgar Mitchell said something to the effect of "They're so technologically advanced that if they were hostile we wouldn't be here".

That's a silly statement. There is no way to know what the motivation is simply based upon them having advanced technological abilities. Their motivation may be science or it may be economical or it may be something very nefarious or etc etc . His dismissal of the very real possibility that aliens could have an agenda that is counter productive to us is bizarre.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

I think that humanity has been being steered since the beginning. Forever changing, growing adapting with unseen forces controlling the experiment. A golden future was our birthrite, but it has been thwarted by choices made without conscience nor awareness.

OK kids need me, have interrupted me after every word written, so catch you later.

That's funny, I'm helping mine with homework while I write this.

I don't think us merging with the gray's is part of our plan.

We don't really need them, but it appears they need our strong gene's and rich world. It seems too one-sided. It has been said they are soulless and emotionless. How can a race like this be a higher level?

Why is it that those who claim to "know" so much always speak in silly riddles?

Yeah, that's it. That's why. I'm applauding myself in a mirror everyday. I think I'm so much better, and I think it's all about me. I always have.

I don't think the merging with the Grey is a part of ANY plan. It is a part of the intentionally created psyop online.
Perhaps the Grey are not one same kind that abducts lonely mothers. Specialists speak of 200 kinds, or at least three groups Grey with whom there is quite good professional collaboration.

We need the Et in most general terms. Not particularly Grey. May be Nordic or Tall Whites.

They don't need our genes that are not that strong.
Our world is about to collapse environmentally, if we don't kill the planet with nukes before that. WHat riches of the planet that they don't have? If they wanted to gather samples of flora and fauna they could do so all those years.

ETs are not soulesss and emotionless. Who said that? Exo Vaticana?
Some insiders developed personal relationships EVEN with Grey and they were profound spiritual friends. I think it was Clifford Stone?

I will repeat, should any heavy accusation of abduction be authenticated, or hybrids, it should be proved by photos, videos etc. Statements of people with already existing emotional and other problems and ruined families in some cases, are not the best way to convince a rational person like me. The masses might be though.

Meh, nations have a hard enough time sharing their resources with one another, let alone the ones that have a known history of violence between each other.

I wouldn't blame an advanced race wanting to keep it technology out of the hands of those they feel like they wouldn't understand the theories or practicality behind it. That would be like giving a toddler the front seat of a car with keys in the ignition and emergency brake down.

As for people pulling the cart out of the dirt, I think it depends how much they wanna get out of the dirt. Most humans these days rarely push such boundaries of thought or physical capability, and just want to live comfortable lives. Nothing more or less.

Have you ever had your parents or someone from the older gen saying "you gotta go to school or work because I did it too." If there were a parent or creator race around since our beginning, that what they'd be thinking.

If we were even a threat to an advanced e.t race, they would of bombed us out of existence without second guessing and us seeing the device of our destruction before it impacts. They'd pretty much snipe our planets from a safe distance.

Yeah it's just sad right? The irony is I'm typing this on a tablet while sitting across from my overweighted sisters overweighted husband , typing things on their mobile...

But I'm still pretty convinced humans are awesome and capable of great things. So sadly I guess 99% of UFO sightings are satellites or plane :-) testing.
The channelling messages people do on here, are probably also more likely just earthly humans, or our secret AI's and people wanting to be more important than they are including myself....

If anything then I still get goose bumps by that one phone call at the end of that docu, where the terrified guy was saying they collaborate with E.T.s at Roswell. If that was acting, then it was the very #ing best piece of voice acting ever. But there is nothing that qualifies as proof. But what do I know I don't even know my blood type.
Oh I so wish I'd be an alien, or could have an alien friend, for real and touchable...

You are the one claiming to know what is logical thinking concerning
beings you know nothing about.

There is no logical explanation for some sly, complex, secret plot to trick humanity.

A gigantic over statement. My reply pointed out only what we all
do not know, in our puny existence. So there is no sense to made
of your retort.

Assuming that the ET hypothesis is true, as we currently understand it, there is no logical explanation as to why a technologically superior species with the ability to defy our understanding of space, time and reality would need to engage in nefarious behaviour in order to get what they want. Based on the combined accounts throughout history these beings have superior weaponry capable of disabling and overcoming any of our defenses, as well as the ability to come and go as they please while doing whatever they like. If they wanted something they could easily take it. The fact that they don't and that we aren't being enslaved, wiped out, rounded up and turned into food, etc. is pretty clear evidence that these beings have no interest in doing any of these things.

Taking into consideration our own understanding of how civilizations survive or collapse we can make some fairly accurate assumptions as to what evolutionary path a species would need to take to thrive long enough to develop a technology like interstellar travel for instance. We can observe from our own history that violent, immoral, non-peaceful civilizations consistently fail ultimately destroying themselves. That should lead any reasonable person to conclude that for a civilization to exist for the length of time it would take to achieve what these "beings" have they will most likely be peaceful, moral with a philosophy of non-violence.

Be scared of your made-up boogymen all you like...I just don't buy it.

An anthill is way more interesting to look at untouched if you get my meaning. Anyway trying to understand aliens using a human's point of view is absurd. But it seems humans cant stop being anthropocentric when looking at these otherworldly stuff. And thats why they will never get it. They should get above the idea they are the perfect model of life because and paradoxically they are at the extreme opposite. No being on earth is more silly minded than humans.

Please, fear has nothing to do with it as far as I'm concerned.
But what happened to nine hikers in the middle of the ural mountains is pretty hard to
explain without a " Boogyman". And I'm not speaking in
riddles or try'n to sell you anything. So you keep on employing
your rationale and logic in places where it just doesn't fit.
Good luck with that.
