Thanks for your reply. Although there's not enough logic in your post to form an reply. And except for Man's and God's "Law," I don't take orders from anyone.

This discussion is about trying to figure out why immigrants and young people in the Western world are so anxious to "bite the hand that feeds them." It's not about taking orders (unless you are in the military). It's about why killing/harming people you don't even know is so appealing to some.

"But human beings do have a deep-seated need to believe in something greater than themselves. This is why so many government the world over work so hard to control what their people believe religiously and why America was such a unique place in allowing the people freedom of belief."

EXCELLENT post! Very well put, and in line with what I and a few others have been saying.

But even if parents let their children make up their own minds about formally joining a true religion, the parents still need to instill a sense of responsibility in their kids, as well as a spirituality that teaches Right from Wrong, Good from Evil. Which, rather ironically, is what is the basis of all true religions: teaching a Morality Behavioral Code of how a person relates to God and to their fellow man.

Good Post! And you are right, we've blurred the line between Government and Rebels. And the heavy-handed CIA meddling in foreign Third World countries' leadership for so long, has made the U.S. the ideal target as the greedy and corrupt, monolithic self-centered government. When, in reality, the U.S. (like most governments) are being manipulated by the Elitists. (Bilderberg calls it "managing resources." When it's really just "lining our pockets, and lining up hoards of peons to do our bidding.")

And Yes, rooting-for-the-underdog has long been an American pastime, which verifies the saving grace of our Individualism, and sense of mistrust in all things "official". So out of this mind-set (conveyed thru everything from exchanges of ideas to popular movies) young people absorb only the superficial ideas: Our government is greedy, self-centered and broken; in the end, you can only rely on yourself; and "martyrdom for a Cause you believe in passionately" is as close as we can get to God in a God-less society. (And you wonder why Superheros and dystopian-futures are so popular in entertainment today?)

Thanks for your post. And I agree with much of what you say.

The U.S. has been turned into a God-less society thru the LOUD and obnoxious homosexual Atheists, and their parrot-press. And young people especially have a deep inner desire in a chaotic and contradictory society, to choose martyrdom thru a passionate belief in SOMETHING that is the opposite of these evil-embracing Western governments being led around by the Elitists.

Shooting up groups of people representative of the "faceless hoards" who ignore or belittle them isn't the way to go. But as long as our young people keep seeing "martyrdom" or "passionate rebels" as the only path to reach God in a God-less society, we are going to have young people killing themselves or others.

"YOU, yes YOU are the prime example where I can see it happening that a person like you has children, and the children literally becoming nuts in their heads and rebel as soon as they can and join such radical groups. Nothing comes from nothing."

Hardly! I encourage young people to find a path of "spiritual morality" anyway they can from all the religious and spiritual elements out there. As long as it teaches Good and Evil, and how to recognize Evil without being drawn into it, good for them. (I myself am a Theist with respect for all True Prophets in all religions, and I believe in Reincarnation.) If kids are running off to join murderous Jihadists, the parents have failed to teach them this fundamental reality.

Everyone also needs at least one hobby they are passionate about, to stay grounded, happy and feeling fullfilled. If you don't have such a passion, take classes until you find one.

Life is also about balance: embrace what is Good in Life, while also recognizing and standing up to Evil. The REAL "dangerous extremists" are the people who are always negative (but do little more than grip about it). And the HappyHappy folks who love everyone and everything, and end up enablers for the misguided and evil.

Good Post, thank you!

"ISIS represent an expansionist totalitarian system, their mandate is to dominate. If it was a case of just leaving them alone, that would be great, but that's not the case unfortunately."

There is a lot more to ISIS/ISIL than is readily apparent. The U.S. militaries started expanding/training military Spec Ops during Obama's first term, and now other countries have Spec Ops too:
"For the past two years, Chinese special forces units have taken first place at the annual Warrior Competition in Jordan against 18 countries, including the US and Russia."

The upshot of all this, is that it looks like ISIL was "trained" (if not also recruited) by Spec Ops forces. So now we have a new global hybrid, or a super-trained rebel force. And it looks like the U.S. and their burgeoning Spec Ops trained them, and Russia started arming them years ago with munitions from their former Soviet satellite countries.

So despite the lure for young people to escape this God-less country for a "passionate rebel force", they are basically just joining another "Superpower created construct" whose end goals are the same as all Western governments: Remake the world for the Elitists, where they will dominate and run everything.

Look at Eastern society in general, do you like what you see? I don't...

Speaking of our hysterical, fear-mongering media, here's a hilarious test out of the Seattle Times you can take, to determine just how plugged in (or vulnerable) you are to the ... New Normal:

Short quiz: These two foot soldiers in the War on Sanity are talking about:

A) The plague of Ebola.

B) The plague of Obama.

C) Internal strife in locker room about Super Bowl champion quarterback Russell Wilson’s degree of “blackness.”

D) General national angst about degree of green-and-blueness of Blitz, the Seahawks mascot.

E) Rush-hour traffic.

F) Intentional left-lane campers, hatchet-wielding “madmen,” playground bullies and other “lone wolf“ attackers surely “inspired“ by Islamist extremists.

G) Comcast customer service.

(Yes, you laugh. But you are probably in my generation. How many young people today would get that "Lost" expression, and start pondering the "politically, socially, Agenda-favorite" correct answer?)
