I stumbled on a very nice collection of survival videos all neatly organized in a single (7.83 GB) torrent file, I will keep this simple and post a few screen shots of included files. If you are preparing yourself for doomsday scenarios and would like an almost ridiculous amount of priceless information, you will find the videos contained within this file to be invaluable!

I have included links to the *.torrent file itself, however simply Googling: "When The SHTF - SURVIVAL for 2014 - Vol 14 - First Aid and First Aid Kits 2" will yield additional results. You will need a Bit Torrent client, I use Bit Comet, but any will work.

It's rare to hit a jackpot like this, so I wanted to share with my ATS family before it's gone. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I have!

I need to get some sterile stitching material. I don't even know where to get it. I have lots of other stuff for first aid, but nothing good to sew a cut with. Anyone know where to get that stuff from?

S&F. I can't open it though, I have my computer set so it can't install programs. I would have to go into services and see what I could find to turn back on. I really ought to write this stuff down when I make changes, I got rid of the antivirus so altered the system so a virus can't take over. That was a few years ago.

I'll have to go on a different computer and check it out. But if the SHTF, a computer won't probably work. There is a lot of pages there to be printing out.

It seems to me you can boil some thread and a needle and you`re good to go, stuff some pine-resin in it to be anti-septic and to glue it somewhat also. And boil cloth as bandage.

Thanks, I never thought of looking on line for them. The pharmacies don't have sutures around here.

The human body function is mostly negative feed back.

Some foods cure cancer for you specifically, and at the same time cause cancer in others specifically,

Each individual has a high degree of variability with others, and some similarity with others.

Herbs that work for you might not work for others in your family.

Finding the right foods, spices, vitamins and herbs for you are the biggest single determinant of your health.

What ever decreases variety in the market (socialism) kills a majority of consumers.

Uh uh, boiling wont do. The hepatitis virus needs to be boiled at 500°C and water only boils at 100°C...

It depends on where you are :

In North-America and Europe viruses aren`t much of a problem, that`s why portable water purifiers can be used easily.

I found a nice little emergency back up surgical kit with prepackaged sterile sutures in it at Duluth trading company a few years ago. We spend so much time remote, that I wanted to at least be able to stitch em up if they need it before we head back to town.

And thanks for a new pile of info, OP!

I'm going to town today, I am going to ask the pharmacist if they have any stitches anywhere. It is good to have stitches, around here we can get a snowstorm that makes the roads impassable for a few days. A few years ago, trees were all over the road, making them impassible for about four hours. Everyone has chainsaws here though, so that wasn't a real problem after the power was shut down from the downed lines. The reason it took that long was because a couple of cars were under those trees.
