What's flying now Triangular platform wise is basically able to go from the oceans floor to near space access in one fell swoop.

It flies in its own little world and doesn't give a damn about the medium is has to use to achieve it.

Are any of these platforms space-capable? Or do they all rely on atmosphere (pressure differential with the drag-free corridor) for thrust?

It sounds like it relies on liquid/gas ionization around the airframe. That would make it difficult to navigate in the near vacuum of space..

To come back to the thread, I have a question about your friend saw : Do you have a description of the shape of this craft or just shadow and green light ? For the light in my opinion it can be like Sammamichman say , night position light we see it on F-35, Rafale etc ...

Yeah I sorta wanna know more detail as in the description he gave you. Was it just a shadow and a green light or did he see the outline of it pretty clearly and if that's the case I can understand if you can't give any further details .

Best guesstimate based on the escorts being F-15/F-22s, is 100+ feet long. No idea on width or height.

The green light was definitely not a position indicator. He was miles away and said it was still very bright. A position indicator can't be seen beyond a few hundred feet or so.

Are you saying that it was something to do with the UKUSA agreement, and perhaps even ECHELON?

It appears that New Zealand isn't very much involved in this, we hardly have an Air Force these days!

New jersey sighting: High altitude green light moving fast from the South west, turned hard, headed out towards the ocean.

I appreciate the heads up, as now I know what I am looking for, it seems that it has been active for the last 16 months across the USA and now moving into the UK airspace.

Have been following this one from the start. Great thread! So? Could the "green strobe light" have been an exhaust seen at a distance through atmospheric distortion? Or, did the friend say it was definitely a "light." Also, what type of fuel, if any, would produce a green flame? Anybody know?

See one of my recent posts. IF I'm remembering correct a specific color in a specific place blurs the outlines of the object under night vision.

He said it appeared to be blinking, but he didn't get a great look between the distance and driving. It was definitely not a position light, and it looked like it was on the fuselage.

Now, this may be related, or not. Since I saw a reference to New Zealand, I decided to have a look and see if there were any reports of odd sightings involving green lights. Well, whaddaya know!

Time: 00:30 am
Location: Outram, near Dunedin, South Island
Features/characteristics: triangular craft operating at high speed
Description:
Clear night, moon and stars visible. Duration of sighting approximately 30 seconds.
Two witnesses were sitting on the bridge just out of Outram. They were about to proceed back to their car when they observed a dull glow around them that they initially thought may have been a lightning flash or a series of lightning flashes in the sky. However, the dull glow then became a pink/blue strobing spotlight that grew in intensity, alternating at an estimated 100-200 hertz between the two colours, shining down and surrounding the two men with light for a few seconds.
An object surrounded by bright white light approached (from the west-southwest), moving directly overhead the witnesses at tree-top height and at a distance of some 10-20 metres from them. The light then tracked away out into the valley at high speed, climbing on a northerly heading, accompanied by a “whooshing” sound such as the wind makes. As it departed, the light surrounding it diminished revealing a triangular-shaped craft with a green glow underneath and a yellow light on top, its nose pointing up and away from the witness’s position on the bridge.
The craft departed up an adjacent valley, leaving a circular vapor ring behind it (similar to those made by aircraft going through the sound barrier), and this was followed by 3-4 more such rings before the craft was lost from view.
Both witnesses reported the moments directly following the sighting were the hardest to recall later, and both reported feeling groggy and physically tingly immediately following the event.
Full recollection of the event returned several hours afterward."

That's the thing with these. Since we don't know what it is, all reports are relevant, because we can't say "no, it wouldn't do that". I know several projects that have tested in that area, so it could very well be related.
