I think there is a double standard here .

Take for example Madonna and her sex book, posing in an erotic position with a dog. And yet... if an ordinary person did this on the street some where they would be locked up. And this such material can make its way into the unsuspecting persons life or view via media or people spreading this type of material about.

Are their fans blinded? Or maybe just brainwashed? I cant work out what's happening and why such double standards exist.

Or could this be a silent revolution against Christian old fashioned ideas on sexuality?

you know, celebrities use any means necessary to stay relevant in the news and these crazy stuff you mentioned are just tool to create public furor and thus everyone is reminded that she/he is still in the game

However, You are comparing a photo in a book with an actual act in a public street, how do you compare the two?

Maybe a better example that compares things that can be compared.

I am just asking that we wouldn't tolerate it if say a " teacher" or a " neighbour" exposed themselves as some celebrities do... so why do we tolerate it from celebrities?

Because a teacher or neighbor isnt out for fame like celebrities are so a celebrity will do things to cause controvery to gain more fame.

Still not sure what you mean by exposed, the first example given cant be compared in a rational sense.

Unless its something I want to seek out to see I do find it offensive if people are pushing an overtly sexual agenda into my face when I am simply a stranger to them .

I am saying go into the streets flashing your private parts and you will be behind bars before you know it. And yet if a celebrity does this its simply seen as acceptable/ground breaking even and really really cool dude!

A kim kardashian porn vid and an art museum are two different things. What I am saying is celebrities can sell off the cheap sex stunts they do by saying its art because everyone will buy into 90% of what they do.

The cheap se stunts are art, an art form to gain more fame in doing so gain more money.

However, I am saying for those who don't want to be exposed to it its near impossible not to be. Firstly there is the over zealous advertisement of these people, the marketing and then its packaged as " super cool" and fed out for major bucks.

Its immpossible to not be exposed if you must use the forms of media given to entertain the masses.

Swith off your TV stop reading the gossip mags and filter your internet searches and you can lessen exposure that way.

The non-talented have came into positions of power and put all of their non-talented friends on TV, in music and movies. That's why most things are so sucky. The talented are kept out of the fold intentionally.
