his is a fascinating development and one that I had no idea was happening until today. It seems that rallies are spreading throughout Germany protesting the corrupt and dying global status quo. One of the key targets of these groups is the U.S. Federal Reserve system, which as I and many others have maintained, is the core cancer infecting the entire planet.

Wow, very welcome indeed! I wonder how much of this is reaction to Snowden's revelations about eavesdropping on Angela Merkel as well as the rest of our 'allies', or the refusal of the US government to return all of Germany's gold (probably because they don't have it anymore and Ft. Knox is empty except for reported stockpiles of chemical weapons...)

The Federal Reserve along with its co-conspirator, the Internal Revenue Service, are more guilty of fraud and criminal corruption than nearly any other entity out there.

Edited to add that Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change is one of the bravest and most unsung hero journalists out there. They already tried once to trap him with child porn on his computer (sent by an unknown person saying that they had a scoop). He's lucky he hasn't been Hasting'ed yet.

Yeah pretty amazing. What's even more amazing is there is nary a peep about this in either Germany's Der Spiegel or any of the UK's media such as the Guardian or Telegraph. MSM news suppression at it's finest.

A welcome change.

Remove the layer of financial scum that has grown like a bacterial colony upon the backs of the productive people in this world.

Where is that gold Germany?

Don't miss this video that was linked from the one above. SWAT teams raiding an intentional community with children present for an 'unpaid traffic ticket'

You obviously aren't aware that the "End the Fed" movement is actually a trojan horse for the capitalists to infiltrate and discredit the truther movement.

No it isn't.

It truly is embarrassing to myself as an American that the Germans are out there marching in the streets meanwhile our own citizen sheep could care less about ending the fad. Sad really.

these are just the first signs of discontent with the outright fraudulent Western financial System (IMF-World Bank-BIS, etc.)

the voices of both discontent and outright accusations of misdeeds by the present System will increase as the time when Frankfurt becomes the EU clearing house (real soon) for the BRICS & Russian energy-pipeline payments

both Russian/ME gas supply transactions in Energy will be the 'new normal'
as the 'Status Quo' with a USD as the official settlement medium for Energy payment/costs gets tossed aside and Germany becomes the new finance 'gateway' for imported natural gas from the Asia/Eur-Asian/Russian/ME conglomerate
of suppliers

In fact, I have no idea if those protests are organized from the far-right- or far-left-wing of the political spectrum. Regrettably, no protests in my area so I am not able to see for myself. Anyone been there?

The MSM have their very own views on those protests, of course. Mostly they are ignored, but if they come into mention, they are seen as being influenced by the extremistic ends of politics, and even those seem to change according to whoever did the report about the protests.

Sadly, no politician will care.

See the "Occupy"-movement which was going strong, too - no one cared about them, in fear of losing credibility against their foreign counterparts, it seems.

Libertarian.

I think "End the Fed" is also the title of a Ron Paul book.

We don't read Ron Paul as such. He is quite unknown here, I learned about him on this board, oh yeah, did I learn..

And Libertarian has a VERY different meaning here! See, we have this very, very small but in its own eyes still very important political party called the FDP, which always claimed the title of "leading libertarian party of Germany".

They are nearly gone now. They were a parasite to nearly every ruling party over here, always ready to bring in some votes so the coalition would reach just over 50% of the votings.. And all they did was caring for their very own people, like hoteleirs, dentists and other higher-middleclass-people. They even introduced some laws about taxes to hoteliers, that was how independent and "libertarian" they were.

No, "libertarian" is nothing a German party or larger group of interest striving for success would like on their pennants now..

Sorry, what kind of undercurrent do you think of? I didn't understand.
