7:37pm CT: Confirmed tornado located near Marshall, MO heading E at 30 mph. Take shelter immediately!

7:56pm CT: The storm near Gilliam, Marshall, Slater MO is "right-turning", meaning it's strengthening. Take shelter!


New TORNADO WARNING on supercell in northeast MO for southeastern Macon County, MO until 7:15 pm CDT!

Omaha, Des Moines Face High Mother's Day Tornado Risk

A low pressure system developing over the Plains will produce a multiple-day severe weather event across the region, set to kick off on Sunday.

Not only could these storms put lives and property in danger, but also threaten any events planned for Mother's Day.

Just a handful of the cities in the path of these storms include Chicago; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri; Wichita, Kansas; Oklahoma City and areas just west of Dallas.

6:44p CT: Tornado warning includes Great Bend, KS til 7:15p. Only a few minutes left to get to shelter.

7:03p CT: Winds up to 75mph being reported north side of Lincoln NE. Trees down.

7:07p CT: Confirmed tornado in the Western/Swanton area of Saline Co, NE.
