So telling the truth is bashing America? What he said is the truth America is the only nation to have used nukes and Israel did threaten to attack everyone with the Samson option. In fact Israel threatened to use it back in 73 to get America to airlift supplies to them when they were getting their butts kicked during the Yom Kippur War.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see an attack on Iran from Israel at this point.

The Israelis will never willingly allow Iran to get a nuke, so if Russia starts to back Iran and it's nuclear program,Israel will take out as much of Iran's nuclear program as they possibly can and pretty quickly I would imagine.

Unlike us, Israel is not going to stand by and let Iran get Nukes.

You know that. So that is why I think this could be dangerous.

Nobody thinks Iran is going to attack the US...At least not conventionally.

Israel won't do anything because they can't handle Iran and they know it. Iran hasn't attacked America but Israel has ever hear of the USS Liberty?

Yeah I hate America because I see the truth that you choose to not see. Way to welcome ignorance.

The likely way that Russia will change it's stance on Iran comes in the form of the UN. As long as Russia is on the security council they can veto down anything that has Iran and nukes in it thus stopping any sanctions to get done. I don't think Russia will do more than that at this point. As long as Russia is part of the security council they essentially rule the world in my opinion. I know the talk is that Russia will be booted from the G8 but how does the UN go about removing them from the security council? That would be the big blow to Russia. Getting them kicked off the security council or removing their veto would be something that Putin would not want. As long as he has veto he is essentially He-Man. He has the power.

The Iran–Iraq War began when Iraq invaded Iran via air and land on 22 September 1980.

Looks like Iraq was the agressor and Iran was defending itself.

Israel had a six day war.. The war began on June 5 with Israel launching surprise strikes against Egyptian air-fields in response to the mobilisation of Egyptian forces on the Israeli border.

So placing your own troops in your own country is enough for an attack against it?



So far the agressors were Israel and Iraq.: NOT Iran.

So it is bad that a country defends itself?

You are the one that seems to miss its own OP, you started this by telling us that russia would give iran nukes, that they have a legal nuclear program is beyond you I assume. Then you go on assuming that it is a threat to both the US and israel, then that israel will use that as provocation, when they have proven enough times that they dont need any provocation, and will manufacture one if need be, to attack iran. Then you act as if all you said was: "hey look out israel may attack iran".
