That just proves some people are not marriage material or can't choose partners correctly.

If your partner actually want to RAPE you to have sex, there is something seriously wrong, with the couples, the marriage and their personality..

Personally im not sure the reason people stay in these marriage and claim rape..i mean "unwanted sex ".

i really don't wanna get involved in the situation between TWO MARRIED couples, who married EACH OTHER knowing each others PERSONALITY beforehand. What kinda deal they have had with each other before marriage is none of my concern.

These "rapes" and the real rape is not the same. PERIOD! one has nasty traumatic effect.

What kinda person marries someone without knowing them first? and still stays with them after such incident? sheez, the world of no responsibility.
so an abusive husband does not cause trauma?

Its funny, you talking about a world of no responsibility while still blaming victims.

So why did she marry him? Why doesnt she get a divorce?

Dont you think by that time its a little too late to play *the rape card*? Not saying its impossible, but man it reeks of bad taste to say the least.

i expect many women will file for divorce once their husband rapes them.
Unless they are so already beaten into submission and feel trapped.
I am making the assumption you will not understand a word of that and our debate with you and your supportes will be above your head(s).

And? So, if a woman makes a poor choice in partners, its her fault if she is raped (and yes, once again, it is rape)?

Thanks for at least admitting, though, that you are way over your head trying to bring up the psychology of such things.

call em as I see em. When people say "sometimes women ask for it", then yes, they are defending rapists.

Pretty gross, really, that any of you would do such a thing. Whats worse is, you all dont even understand that you are doing it.

ummm...ok.....

Now youa re dodging questions. If a girl makes a poor choice, and gets raped, does that make it her fault?

Seems like all of the discourse in the thread is a language issue really. A vast majority of men are strongly against rape, so saying the "generally, men rape" is obviously gonna ruffle some feathers. I don't think it is on purpose though, for most people. They are just not understanding how those words can impact us. If someone said, "generally, men are pedophiles", I wonder how different the response would be?

I was falsely accused of rape, and it cost me a boatload of money to keep my freedom, and clear my good name. It does happen, luckily though, it seems to be in the vast minority, just like rape is. I was unlucky enough to pick one of the psycho women that do such things.

I never really said "women asked for it" i really think many people abuse that sentence for their agenda. Have people said that in the past? of course, now? sure some do. But people are more sensitive toward that nowadays.

I always mention responsibility. Whether you are going to a club, house party, getting drunk w/e... you need to do whatever you can to prevent the wasps from stinking you... because sadly wasps do exist, you can't teach them not to sting.

Same thing thing with serial killers and psychopaths.

I passed our drunk before, but it was my friends, they tied me up and threw me in the trash can, where i slept for 3 hours. I take responsibility for what happened, and i blame them as well.

You are clearly missing the point.........
Having a penis doesn't make one a potential rapist, any more than having a hand makes one a potential strangler....

My definition of rape: The use of what should be an intimate act between two consenting adults to inflict physical or emotional pain on another for your own selfish gratification.

That said... I am a male. I don't have the ability (or anatomy) to drag my ex-wife onto a show like Dr. Phil and have her berated for not wanting to pay child support for a kid I fathered with another woman. "You don't have the right to take it out on the child!!" (Quote courtesy of the hypocrite Dr. PhIl. There is more than one kind of rape!

Btw, male on male rape is estimated to be drastically under-reported because of shame.

As someone who very much looked forward to and enjoyed immensely being a "Daddy" (and now "Grandpa" of nine and counting), that is an aspect of our current culture that genuinely hurts me... Little kids crack me up and it is sad to be somewhere and be hesitant to even smile or wave at someone else's child for fear it will be misunderstood.

Like so many other areas of Life, the scumbags (although the percentage of population may be very small) make Life less natural and enjoyable for us all.

Being at the wrong place at the wrong time is not bad luck?

Obviously its also criminal. Its a felony!

'Who' decides which is the place and time that I am in is wrong??

Ideally I should be able to go any where at any time!!? I don't have a probation

order on me restricting my movements

The criminal attacker silly, like you don't understand that already?

Are you being obtuse on purpose here?

The attacker decides, your in a long dark alley, and thinks he can get away with the attack.

This is not rocket science.

I guess I should be able to walk my white butt down the middle of east Compton without worrying about getting attacked also, but this is not reality.

In fact, the police who saw my walking down the road would pick me up and likely say something along the lines of "are you trying to get your dumb ass killed?".

They would not say " you can walk anywhere you want any time you want", they would ask me how stupid I was for thinking I would not get killed.

You don't see how certain behaviors put people at more or less risk of being victims here? Your kidding right?

Maybe it needs spelling out to some people that it's the attitudes of some that think women being or dressing like a 'slut' is part of the problem. So is telling women where they can go and what times.
A woman should not be curfewed especially on her home ground.

In a perfect world your right, but when has this world ever been perfect?

A white guy shouldn't get beat and robbed for walking around day or night in the wrong neighborhood, but they do and will.

I am like a really big kid. I love family get-togethers, I will be the big scary dude, right in the middle of the snowball fight/waterfight with the kids, while most of the grownups are being boring and watching TV

It is who I am, and gets me a lot of sideways funny looks. I am also a photography guy, always snapping pictures everywhere, gets me some more funny looks, and sometimes confrontations. It is sad, man playing with the kids or snapping pictures in public garners a lot of suspicion from people these days. Bad apples seriously diminish regular people's joy in life.

everyone holds responsibility in every situation. If I am run over by a car tomorrow in the middle of a crosswalk, I am responsible for being in that crosswalk. That doesnt make it my fault in any way that I got hit.

Fair enough, and I dont disagree. Again, though, my issue is with those in this thread who have flat out said "sometimes women do ask for it". That is a direct quote from this thread.

Responsibility falls on all parties. It is still never the fault of the victim, however.

In the past people used to say all kinds of things when there wasn't so much political correctness and trolls waiting to read "catch words" or a bad phrase, while ignoring the context of a message completly, to make their twisted, stupid fanatical arguements.

Kind of like associating modern day socialists to nazis. AGENDA!

You certainly have an agenda and it aint the truth.

Have you seen read the thread? seems like you read title and jumped to end page.

Go have another look.
been here from the start. Thanks. No one has said all men rape.

I would disagree most rambunctiously, as the line " all men are capable of rape" and " all men should be taught not to rape" have been thrown around the entire time.

When both are complete idiocy.

Did you or did you not say that 'sometimes women ask for it'? How am I twisted or fanatical in calling you out on such a grotesque statement? You defend rapists. You blame victims. You will grow up someday, and you will understand that you are completely wrong in that statement.

Um...ok? You are all over the board kiddo. What does this have to do with anything? What does it have to do with me?

You certainly have an agenda and it aint the truth.

What agenda is that? Is being anti-rape and anti-victim-blame an agenda?
