Just

Well go ahead then there Johnny and teach women that they don't have to watch out and take care of themselves in regards to getting pregnant. Just help to perpetuate the cycling of irresponsible women, abortion and unwanted pregnancy.

And a baby's body is the mothers so she can decide to KILL her baby ? I know it's been around since almost forever but for them to allow just anyone to get abortions is just inhumane if they want to go about it the right way I think only mothers who are incapable of raising a child and qualify should be allowed to but when we got sl*ts and wh*res going from guy to guy and getting abortions every 3 months or so ... Well that's just wrong or underrage girls getting abortions.. To some degree it Might be an exeption but when it's open like a store you're going to have customers lining up.
I am not against it entirely but it's a touchy subject, you can never be pro without a con.

I would personally like to dispute this. I am in my sixties and this was known among women long before scientists "studied" it and long before The Pill.

That's a very interesting finding, I can agree with it, as birth control does suppress female hormones, then look at the finding of trying to supplement women during pre and menopause the increase in female hormones and specially estrogen will increase cancer two folds with estrogen replacement therapy later on in life.

What "war on women"??

Do you think the only people against abortion are men?

From the OP:

Another trend in the "War Against Women" are the anti-abortion TRAP Laws. In the case of the Ohio budget bill, clinics must have an agreement with a local hospital to transfer patients there in the case of an emergency, but public hospitals are barred from entering into those agreements. SOURCE

Under this law, which passed and was signed into law last Monday, women who suffer complications and require hospitalization, can no longer use public hospitals. How can that be legal? And, what possibly could be the logical reasoning for such a barring of someone in need, if it's not to punish and disenfranchise the woman seeking to terminate a pregnancy in first place?

Men, particularly of the right wing persuasion, want control over a woman's body and sexuality.

There is a reason why they are obsessed with 1776, they want to society to return to when they reigned supreme and unchallenged.

For what history has given us in women quest for equality its interesting to see how religious rights feels that women rights is not something that women is born into.

Women downfall is blame to be the weakest due to religious bible accounts and for that reason something that needs to be controlled by men.

But in history also shown that only in Christianity we may find this type behavior as women in many other none Christian groups or before Christianity were venerated and protected.

Religion does play a big part of what goes on with women rights today specially in the US and middle east.

Oh, you actually think women care what you think is "accountable" or not? You do realize terms like that are completely subjective. Held accountable for what? and to who?

It's not your body. Worry about yourself and mind your business.

What is it about birth control that is irresponsible? Can we agree that a sexually active woman who is taking birth control is acting responsibly? But if that birth control fails and she falls pregnant, should she be forced to bear and care for an unwanted and unplanned for child for the next 18+ years?

As the Supreme Court noted:

The "intimate relationships" facilitated by contraceptives are what make abortions "necessary"

. ..................

Contraception enables those who are not prepared to care for babies, to engage in sexual intercourse; when they become pregnant, they resent the unborn child for intruding itself upon their lives and they turn to the solution of abortion.

Contraception provides a social "insurance" policy that guarantees that should an "accident" occur, a woman's body is still covered under that social insurance policy, and remedy may be sought by terminating her pregnancy legally and safely, according to the Supreme Court.

Any form of birth control that damages a fertilized egg, or disrupts the egg's ability to implant in the uterus results in the premeditated killing of a human being. That's the truth, plain and simple.

At least you're bold enough to give us a peek at your true motivations...

That there is the nitty gritty of what this entire debate is about. I understand the need for all the diversions though, it would be hard to defend a position such as this...

"Yes, we know that we are killing babies, but so what... sex is more important than a babies."

This is a topic where only one side will speak rationally....
This is one particular issue where Republicans/conservatives seem like complete whack-jobs.

No point in bothering to discuss this with them. They won't be rational.

C'mon, man. You know why it's called the "war on women". The biggest proponents to pro-life are conservative Christians.

What do conservative Christian men believe? Anti-choice.

What do conservative Christian women believe? Their husbands.

I know that there are some conservative Christian women out there who are "liberated" and don't look to their husbands for every opinion but, in matters that regard faith, it is said in nearly every American church that the man is to be in charge of their family's spiritual well-being. They are to be the "spiritual leaders".

So how many "pro-life" conservative Christian women are saying it because the church and their husbands say they should? How well would it fly in the typical American Christian family household if the wife told the husband that she believed women should be the sole arbiter of what happens to their bodies? Probably some passive-aggressive threats if he's a nice guy or, if she's lucky, maybe a divorce. But what wouldn't happen is that man saying "Wife, as a Christian leader of this family, I respect your opinion and will adjust my own feelings accordingly."

Oh okay. You're of the belief that semen imparts some magical property that instantly changes a woman's egg, which is alive and unique in it's own right, into a perfect, innocent human being. Using a form of prevention to inhibit that magic, single celled being from implanting into the uterus is premeditated murder.

But doesn't barrier contraception also the murder the hopes and dreams of the egg to become fertilized, and thus a whole real human being? Or by that logic, chastity murders one, hopeful, potential human egg every month.

Look. There is no "life fairy" that suddenly and magically transforms egg and sperm into new life. Fertilization is a chemical reaction that begins a chain reaction set in place by a DNA blueprint. Fertilization is a biological process in the ever existing cycle of life. Interrupting that process is not murder. Get over your bad male self!

What a load of paranoid delusional beetle dung. An anti-abortionist is concerned with the death of the innocents, not the lives or genders of the offenders.

You are so nice in trying to make conception easy enough for the religious rights to understand, because obviously they believe in the "miracle of conception and birth" is sacred

I will help here, we are part of the animal kingdom and like any mammal we most engage in intercourse to procreate, but alas "God" makes us special so intercourse within the human species is incredibly darn good, makes you feel good, no magic just that "God" such a dirty one wanted us to enjoy having intercourse even during our none fertile days in the cycle, actually the act of sex is humans is no limited to reproduction.

Then to make things better "God" could not stop just with the enjoyment of sex, it also gave the ability of women to be able to be in the receiving end of "rapture" from sex every single day of our lives even after our reproductive years.

Men punishment to women is mostly base in the fact that they can not control sexual desires around women.

I agree, but that is kind of Horse S**t too.

They are already going to have 30 million Illegal Immigrant Votes.

Besides, it will take At Least 18 years for those votes to come to fruition.

How can people possibly know how 30 million immigrants will vote? and where did you get 30 million from?

HAHA! We have to type real slow to help them understand.

The god's must be crazy, how they gave us such "rapture" and then the brains to bypass the supposed curse of duty to "suffer" through childbirth.

I'll never understand how these religious folk rationalize the blatant worship of biology above their god.

Jesus overthrew nature and biology all the time! Born from a virgin, rose from the dead, magically healed the "cause and effects" of disease, magically fed thousands of people from nearly thin air, bypassed the fermentation process, turning water to wine, defied gravity and walked on water.......
