Sorry guys with the weather in the U.S lately. I would like to see some locations, locations, locations, of the people experiencing trouble. Just areas not direct location. Is it coast to coast?

I think it would save a lot of bandwidth and banter if the site owners let the site users know of loading delays due to DDoS or traffic problems in real time. I do not see that as a problem but then I do not know your motivation or objectives are to be honest. It is not clear from the behavior of the admins of this site what your agenda is but respecting your site users is not high among them if you do not care if we have issues with such things as the site loading or attacks on the site or the site users.

Wow, listen up all. The technological wizard is now giving lessons on how to run a website, his knowledge is limitless.

Here is a user friendly map of real time traffic. Just check the "attacks" box to see. There are better maps, but my favorite inexplicably doesn't track China at all. This one does.

Well, the ONLY issues I have been having today is with CNN not wanting to load (big loss there...) Weather is fine (for Michigan) and I never go to GLP and more than likely would have a roving IP ban there anyhow.

Have been visiting here all day with no issues.

Yeah, im permabanned there too. Jason Lucas HATES it when you deliver his documents to his forum. I just thought he would have wanted them back, silly me.

We tend to avoid alarmist threads waving our arms about scaring people about unnecessary things (that's unprofessional). 99.5% of the time over the past few days, ATS has been generally fine. We've had a few alerts from our mitigation solution, all but this most recent one were quickly resolved. So there's no reason for broad concern at this point.

The Akami data has proven to be unreliable since part of its purpose is as a marketing tool to convince websites that they need their distributed network/cache.

I have noticed it at GLP, LOP, AE and a few others. It's very frustrating, not to mention unnerving.
