Holy cow people the winds here are out of control. I just had a 200 year old tree shear off and fall onto my house and car. My car is totaled but my house looks ok besides minor damage. I am in southeast Michigan. If you are in the path of these winds take cover. That gust had to have been 70 plus mph. I will post some pics when the sun comes up. Stay safe if you are in this area please.

The car can be replaced.
I wish you and your families safety and we'll see you on the other side.

It might be a good idea to get to the middle of the house and to the lowest floor or basement if you can.

65 MPH winds reported here in Muskegon on the Channel.

I was out there an hour ago to move a truck, and yeah, windy isn't the word for it.

It is still roaring here. Family is secured in the basement and the house only has minor damage, The car is just a car so that's ok. I did love that car though. We're just gonna hunker down for the night and aprise the situation in the daylight. This old house can take a beating. It did feel like it was about to come off the foundation when it happened though. Stay safe yall.

It's been windy here all day but the increase came out of nowhere. I was expecting high winds with this front but that was insane. It is still blowing hard as hell here. Neighbors are ok so far. It will be interesting to survey the damage tomorrow.

I'm south of that. I live just west of Ann Arbor, about 45 minutes west of Detroit. The temps are beginning to drop. I still can't believe we still have power and internet. The dsl line is half pulled down from the pole but still intact. At least I will have a boatload of firewood from this. And can maybe pull a new roof out of the hat if I am lucky. It needs one anyway.

We've got ice headed our way now. Things may get more interesting. I can;t wait see this in the light of day. Gonna be a busy day. My 75 year old landlord is gonna have a heart attack when she sees this. She's great though so she will be helpful for us, i'm just worried one of her pines could come down on her house.
