You did not read enough nor did you comprhend what you did read. That poster was referring to the Twitter Account and why it was not banned. This has nothing to do with the OP's Thread being banned...it is a legitimate thread in which the OP even stated from the beginning he wasn't sure if it was real. Also posted in the grey area.
You may not like how Mods mod but its not your call nor is it your site. I believe the Op's thread is a legitimate news thread as this story will most dif make it onto the mainstream news if not already there.....very well could still cause a problem in the court room if the lawyers press it...again this has nothing to do with ATS mods nor should the thread be closed beacuse the twitter is fake...try reading and comprehending all of the thread next time.

Now he is making his most brazen disclosure yet: 391,832 secret documents on the Iraqi war. He held a news conference in London on Saturday, saying that the release “constituted the most comprehensive and detailed account of any war ever to have entered the public record.”
Twelve weeks ago, he posted on his organization’s Web site some 77,000 classified Pentagon documents on the Afghan conflict.

But now, WikiLeaks has been met with new doubts. Amnesty International and Reporters Without Borders have joined the Pentagon in criticizing the organization for risking people’s lives by publishing war logs identifying Afghans working for the Americans or acting as informers.
A Taliban spokesman in Afghanistan using the pseudonym Zabiullah Mujahid said in a telephone interview that the Taliban had formed a nine-member “commission” after the Afghan documents were posted “to find about people who are spying.” He said the Taliban had a “wanted” list of 1,800 Afghans and was comparing that with names WikiLeaks provided.

If this is true I would risk my own life to protect that of the Judge that tweeted this. If he truly tweeted that he is a selfless hero willing to risk his life and at the minimum, his career to speak the truth. He would be a hero of epic proportions.
I don't tweet, never been to the site (:edit on 19-1-2013 by Mamatus because: (no reason given)
