Rep. darrell Issa has been trying for months to get a hold of papers. Papers that will show that Obamacare has already cut medicare considerably.

We all know the voice that our seniors have during elections. And this would definately upset them! To prevent the seniors from finding out, they have been temporarily throwing money at Medicare. This could be extremely damaging to Obama. Thus why it is being withheld until after the elections.

Republican Rep. Darrell Issa has threatened to subpoena the Department of Health and Human Services if it does not turn over documents by Thursday on a program he claims is being used to "buy" the election by hiding the effects of ObamaCare.

"What they're really doing is trying on the eve of an election not to have seniors realize that the cuts to Medicare Advantage were real," Issa told Fox News in an interview earlier this month.

Desperation, this is all it is.

“The quality bonus payment demo is providing incentives to more (Medicare Advantage) plans to improve care, giving more patients high-quality choices in the program," the department said in a written response to FoxNews.com. "It is consistent with previous demos."

Something that has been done before, is now all of a sudden a conspiracy when Obama does it.

There is a theme here, try to find it.

If this is so innocent then why not provide Rep. Darrell Issa the information he requested months ago? I bet there will be no problem right after the election is over.

Something that affects Americans should not be "top secret" until the elections are over. I say prove this is innoculous and provide the requested information now and not later. It is being withheld for a reason.

Everything is a conspiracy with Obama.

And then the information comes out, and it always ends up to be nothing.

And then we will hear Right Wingers continue to bring up the conspiracy even though it has already been proven to be nothing.

We have seen this with Birhters, Death Panels, Obama being a Muslim, Obama being a socialist, Obama being weak on terrorists, Obama being weak on immigration, Obama raising taxes, super inflation, Fast and Furious, and now the latest one Benghazi.

Good catch.
Subpoena should go out Friday.

Watergate broke before the election, but the involvement of the Nixon Administration did not come until after his re-election.

This report backs up the history of the issue:

Many sources are covering the fox story, not MSM outlets, of course.

Oh yes, I have heard about this on many different occasions. And after reading this recent update, I was like, "What? He still didn't get those papers?" Omission of facts is just as bad as lying.

We need to put the pressure on to release those papers. This is why I want this article, "out there". I am also concerned even a subpoena will fail. It is evidence against the most powerful man in our nation. And we don't have much time left.

You should look before you leap. This is huge.

What a way to start a second-term if re-elected. How does that knife in the back feel, Obama supporters?

All bets are off. The possibility of Marital law seems to be getting bigger everyday.

Given the results of the Fast and Furious subpoena we are in big trouble, friend. They are taking so long "working night and day" to redact information I bet.

How fast can Issa get them to testify? The clock is ticking.

Well, this time it made it to Fox news. So I think momentum is building. I think we need to let AARP know. Wowza are they influential!

Edited to add... I am sharing this with many AARP Facebook branches. Along with the main office.

I also heard the docs need to be turned over by 5:00pm today. Also mentioned that the papers prove that these changes don't take place until AFTER the election. I am wondering, these papers obviously have information that wasn't included in the published version of Obamacare, so WTH??? I haven't read the whole Obamacare plan yet. Does it even include the financial information? Regardless, this is MAJOR big. Seniors (and others) will not know what hits them until it is waaaaay too late. And why AREN'T they turning over the papers as requested months ago? I can't believe some are defending this action.

Uhhhhh......I think you just nailed it! Very accurately I might add. Yup, this is exactly WHY everything is a conspiracy with Obama. Maybe if he were less transparent with his crap, we would all be duped like other Obama fans.

Here's a little tidbit of information from OP's link:

The congressman further says the effects of ObamaCare's $200 billion in Medicare Advantage cuts over the next decade would have been felt starting this week -- if not for the bonus payments. Thanks to them, he wrote in an August letter, the project offsets 71 percent of the cuts this year.

"What they're really doing is trying on the eve of an election not to have seniors realize that the cuts to Medicare Advantage were real," Issa told Fox News in an interview earlier this month.

71%???????????????? That is feakin' HUGE. Is anybody awake yet??? If not, GET ON IT!

This will probably turn out to be nothing. That said, I bet the same people who are lambasting cuts to Medicare are the same ones who push for cuts all the time.

So basically Obama is hiding doing what you wanted him to do all along. Maybe Obama just doesn't want your vote?

How can it be "nothing", unless.... unless (GASP), Obamabots are hiding all the information requested? Their excuse at the moment is they are working as hard and as fast as they can and the copiers are working overtime. Really???? The request was made in August 2012. How many pages are there??? The same people???? You mean the Democrats? They wrote the plan, they made the cuts. They OWN it!

IMO, if they don't disclose ALL, this could be Obama's "watergate". Well, unless he claims he knew nothing about it.

Well after reading up even more I found out that AARP did some back room dealings. And stand to make more money on this. You see, AARP sells medigap insurance. And thanx to these changes in medicare even more financially strapped seniors will have to buy medigap. $40 a month doesn't seem like much to you or I, but that could erase many years of cost of living increases for seniors. $40 a month could mean the difference in homelessness or not getting some prescriptions they need. Or even paying to warm their home.

Would someone in this situation elect the very person that will be responsible for this? No! Thus why it was given a temporary Bandaid. It should have actually have started this very month! This plan offers 200 billion in savings over 10 years! Which would mean 20 billion a year. That is a lot of slack for the seniors of this country to pick up with their very limited budgets.

But what is scariest is that I don't have a clue if $40 for every Medicare Advantage plans member adds up to 20 billion a year. So there are possibly even more expenses seniors will be responsible for.

here's a new video about Medicare (dis)Advantage...

Oversight Productions, the media shop for the House committee on Oversight & Government Reform released a video Oct. 18 that explains the extraordinary bookeeping used to explain cuts to Medicare Advantage. The video also features Rep. Darrell E, Issa (R.-Calif.) the committee’s chairman.

New video exposes Obama’s Medicare Advantage scheme

Sounds like they're cook'n 'da books !!

Thirteen million American seniors use Medicare Advantage to get their healthcare. To partially fund Obamacare, the President has cut Medicare Advantage by more than $200 billion over the next 10 years.

To make sure seniors don't notice that Medicare Advantage is being drained to fund Obamacare, the Obama Administration decided to take extralegal action to offset 71% of the cuts this year. But what happens after November 6th? The program ends and Seniors on Medicare Advantage feel Obamacare's cuts.

"ObamaCare Guts Medicare Advantage"

That commie HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius needs to go .... Quickly !!
