When a scientist say,"WTF=Where're the Flares?",do you think the Big One is coming?..Next Days.

I do not think there is much to be worried over at all. This was taken from Wikipedia’s "Solar Flare" Page.

"The frequency of occurrence of solar flares varies, from several per day when the Sun is particularly "active" to less than one every week when the Sun is "quiet", following the 11-year cycle (the solar cycle). Large flares are less frequent than smaller ones."

If the sun goes a couple weeks without flares, then I guess it would be a little cause for concern. Besides, if a HUGE flare ever did happen, it would only take a few minutes to do whatever damage it would do. No sense in worrying about it too much, even if you were to know it was coming there wouldn't be much anything we could do about it. Though I suppose thanks for the heads up.

I am asking my self how important is the angle of impact .

There is no absence, a strong one hit us just last week, or the week before, I witnessed the aurora myself, and that's in the north of England.

It's about the absence of the solar flares for a given period of time and what could be the effect.

What absence in solar flares? We had a big CME M class a few weeks ago, and if I recall a small X class too.

Maybe something has just changed radically in the activity of the Sun,we will see this in the coming days perhaps months.

Now, read the blue chart.

In the blue chart, someone wrote "WTF? WTF = Where're the Flares? of course"

This is very weird!

obviously each is a grade up, look how many a DAY and what levels we have been pounded with..

Now if you go back to the 'WTF' marking on the chart...and look directly under that to the 'earth' graph

and you see the Earth which is Vibrating at a Very High Frequency now, and we are emitting light
And you will also see that graph on the Earth, is peaking...but the Upper graph has no Flares.

Hence the 'WTF'. Why is the graph of Earth showing an event, when the Sun is NOT?

No, the Big One isn't coming any time soon.

I hope you are right,but there is an increasing concern from both scientific and nonscientific community.

Heres a thought, why not send them an email and ask them about the "WTF" statement [email protected]

It's my understanding that if we get hit directly by a large flare, we would lose comunications, damage to electronics and disruptions to planes and satillites. If so, I say bring it on, I miss the good old days before we had computers and mobile phones.

Means that they do not understand , that is why that exclamation, especially since large earthquakes have occurred recently in places where they haven't for a long time.

Thank you for the vids,I also think we should be prepared but I always ask my self ,how!There is no way to hide from a strong solar flare,there is no way to protect from what is coming from outer space.
