How sweet. ABC news picked up the story, but they obviously went looking for folks they could easily discredit. Notice the guy holding up the alien sign?

Hey guys,
just came home from our own protests in Greece (the cops kicked us hard, no kidding).
I 've been watching your thread since the beginning and I just wanted to tell you one thing:
Do NOT get abstracted, Do NOT let anyone deviate you from your goal. That is what happened
to us in Greece, people started telling lies, and then started saying "hey, this protest isn't right,
if you want it to be right you have to do this and that and so on.'.. That's when we got distracted. That's when the Police sent us all to hospitals. That's when the media turned against us. That's when we lost (for now, hopefully).
Do NOT let this happen to you. You have a brilliant movement on the rise, please don't let the usual suspects distract you. REMEMBER: if there is one thing in common all governments have, then it is one simple and effective quote: Divide And Conquer. Please, don't fall for that.

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!

In Greece, we made up this quote: "No to capitalism, no to communism. No Right, nor left. The only thing that trully matters is Humanitarism".

Think about it.

Unfortunately humanitarianism isn't going to get your face on the cover of Forbes. The truth most commonly falls on deaf ears.

I know you are 100% right. However, you 've got to fight for what you believe. Or at least we do. That's how we've been raised. Foolish, I know, but still, if nobody stands for it, then it won't exist.
The part about this quote which most resonates with me is: "No Right, nor left."

Left-right polarity has become a major distraction which only serves to support plutocrats from both parties of our effective two-party monopoly, both sides of which are already completely sold out to all the big bankers and other big corporate political benefactors, who effectively own both sides of the political system, plus the lion's share of the news media and other media, upon whom we can no longer rely for any kind of honest or realistic political reporting, or 'most any other kind of financial or other important news reporting, for that matter.

No candidate worth a vote will ever be nominated for office on state or national levels in the US unless he or she passes muster with the big multi-million-dollar campaign sponsors to feed the "campaign warchest" he or she needs to get elected. Worthy 3rd party candidates, even if they can overcome the major expenses of campaigning, are totally marginalized by the established political process and corporate-owned news media anyway.

Since 2009 we've seen Obama change from his original campaign persona into a new Presidential Persona in which he fits very neatly into all the policies established by the George W. Bush Administration, many of which he campaigned against. Instead of "cleaning house" at the White House, he even retained many important Bush appointees like Robert Gates as Defense Secretary and Ben Bernanke as Federal Reserve Chairman. Yet the left still supports him almost as unquestioningly as the right supported George W. Bush.

The Revolution will not be candidate from either of the two major political parties.

The Revolution will not get it's face on the cover of Forbes.

The Revolution will not be televised.

Fortunately that's not an alien sign. It's the Reddit logo done up in a costume, Reddit probably has quite a hand in organizing people to get out there.

just remember .if the cops get violent, turn your anger towards bloomberg.flashmob is the answer.if the cops attack then attack the police station.if they attack with water cannons, turn on all the fire hydrants in the vicinity to lower the water pressure.if they use microwave weapons use metal trashcan lids and wrap yourself in tin foil.if they use battons then use bricks.if they use tanks then flip cars and burn them.if they use snipers then burn the buildings.if they take down tent cities, flashmob city hall

anarchists, communists, and Soros operatives can just as easily hide behind the "no left no right" banner. The only answer these people have to the capitalism they hate so much is communism and socialism. The secret behind this Wall Street rally is that the solution is even bigger government. Socialism always points to that. The anarchist thing is just a mechanism to get anti govt people involved.

I'm sure there are genuine people wanting to fight the NWO in this rally, but they seem to be co-opted by ultra leftist.

I'm really not to sure what to think about this protest. One thing that gets me is why Wall Street? Why not outside the federal reserve? I guess I will just reserve judgment until i can read more in to this but i doubt this is the start that many people were looking for. I wonder how long it will be before the NYPD pulls out the sound cannons

Remember the plan is only for non-violent civil disobedience and peaceful demonstration. Remember the successes of Martin Luther King's demonstrations; he never started any conflict, it was always the police who went hot while the non-violent demonstrators must remain cool. The media is watching. If you let them dismiss you as a mob of violent instigators, they will do so. The Robocops will come out and the media will justify it for them.

the media will almost always justify police actions in these situations. TPTB have more control over the media now then they did during the Civil Right Movement.

From Gulag Bound

So, a “U.S. Day of Rage” is scheduled to start an “Occupy Wall Street” camp-out on “17/9/2011″ (which would denote orchestration by those who use the British means of writing dates). And as with the “Arab Spring,” much of the organizing is being done through social media, especially super-popular Facebook and Twitter.

Immediately upon clicking links, one finds it to be the America-targeting element of a worldwide movement, especially popular by the looks of it, in Old Europe. Again, that is no surprise to those who have looked into the updated mode of Marxist revolution stemming from the Gramsci and Trotsky schools and historically, even the days before Marx and Engels. Revolutionary proponents like to hide behind the non-American ideal of democracy (as in permanent rule of the proletariat majority, forget about a republic) along with nebulous and mysterious anarchistic labelling.

But now the demonstrators have their own video cameras. If the police attack unprovoked it will likely be recorded and disseminated via internet.

it is sad that reality has come to that but it doesn't seem like peace will prevail over violence ever. most people respect the badge, everybody respects the gun... and if they don't then screw it we shoot them... smh

Yes they have targeted Wall Street as the exemplary representative of Capitalism. In the Arab Spring they brought down Pro -western leaders. Here that is not what is happening.

The Federal Reserve, using their government-issued monopoly regulations, is "ground zero" for the economic collapse going on. They are by far the largest and most powerful bank in the world. You would think that perhaps the fact that the largest and most powerful banking institutions in the world are full-blown fascist enterprises having absolutely zero to do with capitalism would tell you that just maybe there is more to this problem than "greedy capitalists".
