Oh I get it. The 2.4 was it, because it was 1 second off from the one I posted. It was deemed below 2.5 thus taken off the list, they weren't drunk afterall.

Yep,my screen shows those above 2.5.,so that would explain it.

That's nice. No problem.

Anyway,I respect all the great collaboration here of great minds at work.

Thanks to all of you.

Maybe my post is off topic - I am not computer literate - sorry for that - but, for what little I do know on the workings of such - When I have to go to the Dreaded Typing Room, I have to by memory remember what I am replying to - AND - while in the "Typing Room", I can not see if another member has replies - which - makes what I or you are typing in some instances - alrleady answered - yes off topic - but - still worth bringing up as it happens on every thread

Ok I'm hoping someone can help with equake. I know there have been previous posts regarding this but honestly, none of those posts helped me - or worked for me and I'm getting a little frustrated by it.

I've been trying to get equake to work with FireFox v3.6 for ages now and no matter what I do the stupid thing still keeps freezing and not allowing me to add it on
The only way out once it's frozen is to task manager/shut it down. Why would it do this? Please help.. When I look for help outside ATS I see equake is not compatible with v3.6 but some inside ATS say it is.. is it?

Oh and I tried to find 'the author' and go to his facebook page as previously mentioned by someone else, but who is 'the author' and why, when there is soooo much interest in this can't someone just post the link to where we can go and get this working.. if it's as simple as going to someones facebook page what's the page?

I look forward to a reply eventually haha... Cheers in advance

Here's my earlier post - subsequently people have been able to update their eQuake to work on F/Fox 3.6 using this information. If it doesn't work for you then I'm afraid I'm stumped.

EDIT - I just rechecked the Facebook page and the new version link/download is now on the Wall.

+++++++++++++++++++++

Uber-geek hubby got it sorted for me... version is ready, just not approved. He installs everything for me as he's got the lappy tightly locked-down for security etc.

www.godlikeproductions.com...

Plus, they announced the upgrade to Firefox 3.6 on Facebook over a month ago ... go to following link to the appropriate thread and hit the new link provided in the comments section...

www.facebook.com...#!/eQuakeAlert?ref=ts
(if link doesn't work - search eQuake from Facebook)

Hope that helps
Moorf
