I must say Prestwick Airport has always been a bit shady, its designated as an alternate operating base for American B52's in the event of a nuclear war.

I know of alternate air bases, especially one on mull that has a 3 mile long runway.

It's "deserted"


Which is pretty #ing funny as i got buzzed by USAF F-18's while i was hiking.

Russian it looks to be contrails of an Aurora



This link shows a good contrail that looks like its from an Aurora Scroll down when you get to the page
