Good post man. It is beyond a reasonable doubt that scripture speaks against sex before marriage.

Man, that passage on 1st Corinthians 6: 12-20 scares me.

Yes the Bible does talk about sex before marriage. It’s called fornication. God is against fornication. Fornication is talked about a lot in 1st Corinthians.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.....


See it says it right there. Neither fornicators. Someone who is having sex out of marriage.

Yes, pray about it.

Every time you think about it, just pray.

Marriage, is also good. Sex is for marriage. When you fall in love with someone. It's for two people to share a closeness. It's unbelievable when your in love and married. Very comfortable place to be.

Shar, I know but it's tough. I don't think a lot of people understand that our peers nowadays expect us to be doing this kinda stuff.

My guy friends expect me to do it and so do girlfriends.

edit: People nowadays look at virginity as something to be ridiculed, it's sad.

Well it's not. Don't worry about what other people think or say. They will not be around when it comes to one on one with you and God on the Great day of Judgment.


You will be blessed. Have patience. I too felt pressured by everyone including boyfriends. Let me tell you though. It’s so sweet to wait. To just be clean and pure for the one you love. To have that as a gift to give to your wife or husband one day. You will love yourself for it in the end more.

If I did it with every boyfriend I had I would be consider a whore. I am so thankful I waited. I am glad I just had fun with them and can look back on those memories as good times. Sometimes, it’s funnier to just kiss, hold hands, hug, become best friends. Enjoy life till you find your special one.


When you find your special someone, life will be even more enjoyable.

i'd like to simply share my beliefs...
i have none.

i'm not here to attack, i'm just here to state what i do not believe. i don't believe in anything without proof, so i don't believe in any deity or spirit. were there adequate evidence to show that a particular deity existed, i'd readily believe in it... however, i highly doubt that, were a deity to exist, it would be anything like the the narrow and constrained religious creations of humanity.

see... even non-believers have something to share about how they disbelieve without attacking the positions of others.

you don't need to create a separate thread for the sharing of beliefs, all threads should be open to everyone. i know the "Atheist Chat" thread is open to believers, so long as they are polite and non-confrontational.

and honestly, it isn't like the sharing of beliefs is something suppressed on ATS
