I personally believe Lazar.

This is hard to refute:

I noticed people on DI are already using the situation to mock and defame Bob Lazar in the questions runup thread since George has talked about him a ton, even years ago here on ATS the same thing happened. Sad.

Good thing I have final say on which questions I submit to him. Challenging is fine, but mockery and blatant personal attacks will not be submitted. I'm trying to build long lasting relationships, and Knapp is only the beginning. So much more to come.

Yeah, sorry to go right for that with my question.

But I liked Lazar's story. He was certainly right about Area 51. I thought he got the whistleblower discrediting treatment to a large degree. But then his science started looking pseudo. Moscovium, the synthetic element with a 650 millisecond half-life, that we have stockpiled according to the story. Bugs me.

I believe Knapp covered that in a follow-up in 2014 and Lazar answer was he believes there's an undiscovered isotope.

As of now, the longest noted half-life is ²⁹⁰Mc at 0.65 seconds.

You don't have to put him on blast for that, but I have wanted to know his thoughts on the problems with 115.

No. The destiny of ATS hangs in the balance. With only 34 days remaining until the lights go out, our ship sails without a captain at the helm. Yet, amidst this uncertainty, both I and the dedicated 300+ members of DI remain excited with anticipation for what lies ahead.

I've been chatting some with Simon Gray about regrets, ATS, and where we stand now. It's got me reflecting on what we once were as a community. DI aims to recapture that sense of unity we had before ATS became all about the almighty dollar, obsolete advertising models, and political in-fighting.

Simon Gray is still around?

I'd love to chat with him for a few hours.

Make any topic or thread you want. Isn't freedom great?
By the way,
George Knapp was a featured reporter for KLAS Television in Vegas for many years long before Mr. Lazar came along. No single person "made" George Knapp, George "made" himself by accomplishing everything on his own to become a Reporter on TV. What you said sounds more like mockery or jealousy because you didn't make the same grade?

Nope. My opinion of Knapp is that of a charlatan, profiteer and attention-seeker. It is my opinion though. I respect anyone with differning opinions though and don't resort to gaslighting them, belittling belitting them or playing "alpha poster" on internet boards.

I put DTOM as the referral, because, I mean...
True enough, right?

He's so busy with work, I'm not sure he'd have the time. But i'll ask. He did say he'd join DI though. I've got a "Founder Emeritus" status waiting for him when he does.

It's the least he can do. Most here have supported this site for decades and would like some closure.

Perhaps he gives a damn.

Perhaps he never did.

I dont have any specific questions, but 115 does interest me, I dnt have the science background to narrow down a question but still looking forward to it.

I mean I could pose some obsed question, but nobody benefits knowing how many bites it actually did take RZA to chew his arm off.

When Stanton Friedman did his AMA here I noticed he dodged my question on the 1952 Washington DC ufo sightings en.m.wikipedia.org...

I explained to Mr Friedman that I only saw 3 answers to the question A) ours B) foreign hostile government C) little green men from the planet ZOG .

Totally blanked me
suprIsing just how many older people do not know about this event happening just at a time they were going to seriously gut the spending on the MIC

Perhaps you have no idea what you're talking about.

Simon's story is a sad one but it's not mine to tell.

That would be a interesting story to read as not many people here would even recognise who Simon is or had anything to do with the early ATS .

I'd love to hear it, or at least a synopsis of the story.

All we get is crap & nonsense.

I'm starting to not give a rat's ass anymore...

I've been here since 2004. And most of that time, I have been a moderator at one level or another.
IIRC, Simon hasn't been very active on ATS for most of those years.

Before saying the "least" he can do, maybe give the benefit of the doubt as to the least he can do. Maybe hear what he has to say......

If he did NOTHING else, he FOUNDED ATS.

Absolutely correct.

Which is why my frustration boils over because we know so little about something we love so much.

He's the cornerstone of this adventure, I would very likely be 100% behind him if it wasn't for us having to stand on deck watching the ship go down.

This is not the way.

People like me are into conspiracies not because they enjoy doom porn, but because they are tired of the great deception, and that translates into the faintest glimmer of hope because if they can see it, so can someone else and in the end we are not alone after all.

ATS going down just like that with only speculation to keep us company is the worst possible outcome.

I'm curious - what kind of work does Simon do?

Not my business to tell. He made it clear that given the considerable amount of harassment he's faced over the years (i.e. crazy forum members showing up at his home, ect), he wants his privacy respected. He was very kind, but I think he's ready to move on. He's just trying to survive like the rest of us, and I'm just going to leave the man be.

On the plus side, we're seeing the return of a lot of old ATS members on DI, and I'm really excited!

They shouldn't mock anyone. Do you believe what Lazar has claimed so far?
