Instated of rebuilding decades broken infrastructures, schools and other projects the majority of congress money for the two years had gone to Ukraine.

I didn't want an agreement I wanted the government to shut down. But if there is going to be an agreement, they need to spend less.

Absolutely reduce the military budget. Also I would argue they shouldn't even raise the debt ceiling. If they are raising the debt ceiling again that just means they are spending money they don't have. They need to keep the ceiling where it is, reduce spending, and start paying down the debt.

The USA is not honoring its debts. Stop raising the debt celing and pay the debt. That's how you honor your debts.

I recall Lindsey Graham badmouthing Bernie Sanders for wanting Self-Employed people to receive Unemployment during the Pandemic. Graham said the country couldn't afford it. Depending on the issue, Graham gets KUDOS or JEERS... very rarely are emotions about him "neutral".
