Do please explain how a nuclear plant explosion (whatever that might be) or a meltdown in his own bleeding country might benefit him?

Ukraine has probably had enough of Russia's Chernobyl disaster on it's own soil.

Do they want another one?

Do try and make some actual sense?

Sorry Canada lost, by the way.

Guessing you ain't bothered seeing as you loathe your own country so much?

He doesn't have Nukes.

That's probably why he's trying to cause a nuclear plant explosion or meltdown.

Good point!!!

Sometimes you nail it.

I trust you made similar comments about Putin when Russia attacked nuclear power plants?

Name the nuclear power plants russia has attacked.

It hasn't.

Yea, MSM has some false stories out there, just like with the missiles, they blame it on Russia. Even though Russia has been asking for intervention because Ukraine is shelling Nuclear Plants.

You can tell you're onto something when all they got left is insults.

I lived in Soviet Estonia and the biggest myth is that Soviet Union = Russia.

The Soviet Union was composed of corrupt communists from all the nations. When Soviet Union fell apart, then all the documentation that would prove which Estonians were the collaborators with organizations like KGB suddenly disappeared.
Only bits and pieces of this information has surfaced. Like the editor-in-chief of the biggest Estonian newspaper turned out to be a guy who used a pseudonym back in soviet times to write articles that condemned and ridiculed anyone who showed criticism against soviet power.

When the soviet powers did mass forceful deportation of Estonians from years 1941-1951 then the older generation remembers how there were plenty of other native Estonians who helped with this deportation, just because they didn't like someone or they just wanted to loot their wealth that was left behind.
Now our media is pushing the same propaganda like the Russians were the only ones committing red crimes. And when you see the names who are running the media, then there is no surprise. There were just as many good people and criminals among Russians, then in any other nationality.
Criminals never pick their victims based on their nationality, but only by their availability and most crooks used the rotten soviet system to do harm to their own neighbors.

Right now, we were out of Soviet Union, enjoying our independence, but it feels like we are right back to where we came from. With Covid and now with Ukraine, the level of censorship is back on the level of soviet times where there was only One Political Truth, and the critics of this "truth" are labeled as enemies of the nation by the media.

So much for our independence. We got some years of enjoying fine things like free speech and free market, but now we are back in a new socialist union in EU, that has the same recognizable flaws that soviet union had.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Russia accused of attacking a nuclear power plant in Ukraine early on in this war? And wasn't the global community "outraged" over it? To be completely honest, this post here is the first I've heard of Ukraine shelling a plant. It doesn't seem any American media is reporting on it.

People will, and have, called me a "Russian shill" and a "Puppet for Putin" and whatever other stupid names they can come up with... But I've been saying it's Ukraine that is responsible for this war. And it's Ukraine who's doing all the shady stuff while western media covers for them and praises the little fairy Zelenski. Putin is no angel, but I understand his reasoning for invading. How many times could he tell NATO to stay out of his back yard?

What Russia gains if they shell the plant is enough pretext for a nuclear strike that the world would begin to believe they might really launch one. Or so they likely hope.

What Ukraine gains is...........not much. Since fear of nuclear escalation is 100% of the reason Nato doesn't join this war in a fully committed capacity. It only hurt their support.

On the other hand, IF Ukraine were to have been able to secret way and old Soviet nuke from days past, and maintain it, undetected, all these decades....

Now you're talking pot-boiler novel material!

To quote Dr. Strangelove : "The whole point of a doomsday machine, is lost if you keep it a secret".

The goal of having nuclear weapons is to use them as a deterrent. Not to actually use them.

The UN has confirmed it and has asked Ukraine to stop doing it.

That's exactly what he's doing.

Not even a troglodyte yet? You'll get there.

Yea, they don't like when you point out certain facts, they'd rather if we'd just shut up.

The head of the IAEA has warned them both, because they have no proof either way, he's very careful to say they don't know who is doing it, so zero proof it's Russia. Russia occupies the site, are they shelling themselves? That would make zero sense. Ukraine doing it makes sense, then they can whine for more "assistance".

Whoever is behind this, it must stop immediately,” he said. “As I have said many times before, you’re playing with fire!”

It makes perfect sense, irradiated a large part of the area so russia can't occupy it.

I am sure the country that had the biggest ever nuclear accident is going to be really OK with that.

Particularly since they seem to be prerty successfully pushing Russia back anyway.

Haven't a clue who fired the shells, neither do you.

it's a war zone.

However claims that Ukraine is deliberately trying to create a nuclear incident on its own soil seem to be completely evidence free made up bollocks.

You understand that the only card Russia is holding right now is their nuclear arsenal, right?

An arsenal they can't use unless they are given a nuclear provocation?

An arsenal that is fully 100% of the reason Nato doesn't invade them over this war? And 100% of the reason Nato countries are hesitant to make strong moves?

So yeah. Zelensky would hurt himself 1000 times worse than he could ever help himself.

Russia is probably using the threat that they will shell themselves in order to get Ukrainian forces to back away from attacking Zaporozhye altogether. If no artillery hits the city at all, that is the only way to deny plausible deniability.

He asked "whoever" is doing this to stop. That includes Ukraine. If he had proof it was Russia, he'd be screaming it from the top of his lungs. Like you are doing, without proof. I sourced the claim.

And, yes, when you are already willing to lie and deceive and do whatever it takes to get U.S./NATO support, you do stupid sh#t, like shelling nuclear power plants in your own country and blaming it on Russians.
