It appears that Kherson is about to fall as well.

Putin better grab a rifle and get out there on his white stallion.

Chechnya is a bit of a gray area but certainly relevant considering it was the Second Chechen War that got Putin elected in the first place. Of course the causative factor for that was a false flag perpetrated by the FSB.

I'm just trying to understand why so many people are obsessed with the # that in no way affects them. I have my ideas why people are obsessed with it, but it's quite bemusing to watch people just go all in on crying for war when they have no dog in the fight.

Is it just "# Russia?"

Is that all there is to it?

I'm not trying to distract anyone. I'm trying to have an honest conversation about it.

Like I've said prior. I don't care about the Ukrainian or Russian government. I do care about the people though.

I've been to Ukraine. There's some nice places and a lot of bad places. This war isn't going to help them and if anything it's going to put Zelensky in debt with a lot of other nations, which will get passed on to the people who live there. The crime isn't going to magically get better. Life isn't going to magically get better.

And I won't be surprised one bit if Zelensky gets offed as soon as he's not useful anymore.

The people of Russia if they are in fact all on the same page about not going to war and not wanting to be conscripted should band together and kill Putin and any of his officials who faithfully back him. They are no stranger to civil wars and regime changes. They are no strangers to the warring between anarchists, capitalists, communists, socialists, nationalists, aristocrats, nobility, oligarchs, various religious battles and so on and so forth.

But the Russians of today are much like the US citizens are. They'd rather run than fight, and those who say they want to fight are all talk and little to no skill.

Zelenksy and the Ukrainian military is only winning because he's whoring himself and his country out to be taken advantage of by other governments.

A madman just invaded a European country, while claiming he is at war with all of Europe and the US, and also making frequent nuke threats.

You want a repeat of chamberlain's ww2 blunder?

I don't.

I guess I understand your opinion. Still doesn't mean that it won't happen anyways, and this is all just positioning before the lynchpin breaks.

Some people have said it's better than doing nothing, but sometimes doing something makes # happen anyways.

If it's going to happen it's going to happen. Just because the media says one thing and the expert websites say one thing doesn't mean that they aren't being fed bull# and governments involved aren't being honest with their intentions. Militaries around the world are no stranger to sacrificing units for the "greater good" and in attempts to confuse intel. I'm not saying Russia is doing this with the losses that have occurred so far, but they are certainly capable of doing it as history has shown. Especially when there are satellites tracking movements and everybody who knows how to and cares to can follow along in damn near real time.

It could be that Putin and his people thought that they still had some iron grip on the people they preside over.

If it's as simple as a madman threatening to use nukes why hasn't anyone done anything about North Korea and China? After all they're all talk and their military isn't exactly on par with the US and the people there aren't nearly as hardcore nationalist as they were back in the previous big wars. They're all overworked and on edge.

I'm sure India would love to jump on that train if they had the US and the rest of the world sending them billions of dollars and butt tons of equipment as well. Hell, Japan would probably and South Korea would probably jump on that train as well.

All true.

But can we please avoid making the SAME mistake again?

We already know what happens on that timeline.
