I understand your frustration.
You opened the topic and gathered here to savor the announcement of a general mobilization, but this did not happen.
Your media has once again deceived you.
What deception?
russia's own situation and comments led to media speculation, which is how it's supposed to work.
Now, how do you think russia will find the influx of troops it desperately needs in Ukraine if a general mobilization is off the table?
What do you suppose that the entire Russian army is fighting in Ukraine?!

Most of it. Of course they can't leave the rest of their empire totally undefended.
May 9, 2022 11:00 Red Square, Moscow
Overall, 11,000 personnel and 131 units of military equipment were engaged in the parade.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin:
.............................
Therefore, despite all controversies in international relations, Russia has always advocated the establishment of an equal and indivisible security system which is critically needed for the entire international community.
Last December we proposed signing a treaty on security guarantees. Russia urged the West to hold an honest dialogue in search for meaningful and compromising solutions, and to take account of each other’s interests. All in vain. NATO countries did not want to heed us, which means they had totally different plans. And we saw it.
Another punitive operation in Donbass, an invasion of our historic lands, including Crimea, was openly in the making. Kiev declared that it could attain nuclear weapons. The NATO bloc launched an active military build-up on the territories adjacent to us.
Thus, an absolutely unacceptable threat to us was steadily being created right on our borders. There was every indication that a clash with neo-Nazis and Banderites backed by the United States and their minions was unavoidable.
Let me repeat, we saw the military infrastructure being built up, hundreds of foreign advisors starting work, and regular supplies of cutting-edge weaponry being delivered from NATO countries. The threat grew every day.

There will be parades in Mariupol, Donetsk/Luhansk (somewhere in there) and several other Russian cities. Belgorad however will not have any parades. The Russian MoD announced that the air parade portion has been canceled due to bad weather. All links provided are live...

Yeah Ukraine made the comments about nukes after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014. Why should Ukraine be forced to demilitarize? They had no plans to invade Russia however Russia did have plans to invade Ukraine.
The neo-nazi bs needs to stop. The lie is old and debunked in the manner Russia is attempting to use. Again Russia is the one using the Nazi playbook.

If Ukraine was going to invade in March, how come they didn't begin mobilization until late February?

You are aware that Russia's invasion began on February 24th, right? You pretty much just destroyed your own claims by showing that Ukraine's military was not mobilized until Russia invaded.
