Searching back could Jethro Tull have written this in some vision of a dystopian future, for a certain person.

I may have missed something, but I am glad you brought up Jethro Tull and The Pink Floyd. Im terrible at lyrics if this has to do with that certain person.

Never heard of these guys but that git player with the brushes is probably the drummer
coming to sing up front & plays guitar. He is good on the brushes. I have sat in on jams
with no drums but anything can be percussive...so a jam started with incredible blue grass
players & I was begged to play but had nothing but an egg shaker in the truck, there was
a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket perfect drum can turn upside down & play like a Conga-Djembe,
people brought me spoons, & BEST of all I was handed the Banjo!
Banjo was so fun because it has a drum head & I could play it with me hands or fingers.

It was an awesome night of improvising & such great fun!

Cheers

A few weeks ago my friend (who can play guitar real good) called me up because another friend who can also play real good guitar was coming over. First friend's wife plays mean bass.

My foot was broken at the time but I made it to the garage. Yeah, an actual garage. I'm sitting there, digging the music and the bass player asks if I wanted a cocktail. Guess what I answered. She came back with a bloody mary and this box thing. I thought the box thing was for me to elevate my broken foot on. It wasn't. Each side sounded different. One side had a trap built into it. It was a lot of fun to bang on.

Playing a bloody mary glass will change the tone as it goes empty.

A box drum? You could tap the top and sides and it had a hole in one side?

My brother's friend plays the sitar...it is one of the other craziest instruments I have seen played. Precision.

Probly harder to tune than a 12 string.

I thought I did pretty well.
You just crushed my dreams.

But they don't have a broken foot, so there is that.
