The news this morning tried to air a feel good story about a lost dog.

abc7ny.com...

But something doesnt seem right?

This guy got a dog for his wife who had cancer.
The dog was stolen from his car.

Cops find a dog with no owner walking around.

Dog has a chip, so they contacted the original owner.

When the original owner shows up to claim his dog, a lady also claims the dog is hers.
She says she bought it from a man off the streets.

Guy let's her keep his dog?

2 things.

The dog was reported stolen, this lady is in possession of stolen property.

The dog was wandering around alone. Which seems neglectful.

Dog should not be with that women?
Yes or no

Since it's about the destiny of a living being, I would say whatever is best for the animal.

If you ask what's lawful right, the owner that it got stolen from in first place

Is the living being better off in an inner city, already found wandering alone, among people who buy and sell dogs in boxes on the sidewalk or Yonkers?

Here's what you do...
The two people who claim to own the dog stand 12 feet apart, with the dog between them. Both call the dog to come to them. Whoever the dog chooses gets to keep the dog.

Or we can give the dog to the rightful owner, the one who paid for the microchip.

Not the one who let the dog wander around alone?

No, no! You get both women and hold the dog with a big axe over it's head and say" if you both want the dog I'll chop it in two and you can have half each". You might get one of the women say "no don't do that give it to the other woman". So you give it to the other woman, easy aint it.
