Using the DoJ and the courts is a far cry from spying. Not exactly like using CIA assets on US soil against congress and journalists.

I might tend to agree with you on this, but Adam Schiff blatantly stated that he does not leak, he exposes. So if the head of the House Intel Committee is going around and "exposing" classified intel, then the would give reason to investigate the issue of who is leaking that intel.

Trump was looking into leaks from journalists. Obama used his powers to just go after journalists that said bad things about him…big difference!
