Barred owl. With very low population density. Not really going to track them in the literal sense. But if you watch. You might see one. Or if you listen, you can hear their calls. Which leads you to where they roost. As confirmed by the ground being littered with owl pellets. Look up and snap a photo. Might not be artistically great. But still a clear picture of what it is. An actual photo, not IR trickery. Which leads to an actual animal that can be studied.

Thousands of people have seen them. I have heard them. Relatives of mine who are hunters (that used to laugh and scoff and sputter on what a joke it is) have gotten the shyte scared out of them and refuse to go hunting in the woods ever again. They used to be exactly like you. My uncle saw one at close range in Packwood Washington.

There doesn't need to be a dead body of one of these splattered on the front page of every news paper just to satisfy you personally that they are real. So get over yourself.

I have hiked mountains at night by myself.

Been bank fishing with friends in South Carolina where you have to be weary of alligators, check the bank for alligators, wear boots to protect against rattle snakes. Bank fishing in eyesight of 10 to 12 foot alligators.

In Guam, I got over my claustrophobic feeling when underwater to repeatedly and regularly go snorkeling by myself. Got tired of waiting on my drunk buddies. Sucks when the surf pushes you into coral when making for deeper water.

And your going to tell me. A true hunter, that enjoys the thrill of the hunt, and the dangers and excitement of the wild is going to be scared off from their hunting, their land , by a chance of getting at the ultimate prey.

There have never been search parties, search lines, and air support in your state to find a believed missing person. A hunter, or child, goes missing. You just don’t do nothing because bigfeet got’em.

Or do such efforts result in finding the missing person. And it’s obvious the death was caused by another human. Or my animal, and the animal responsible for the attack was found, killed, with human remains recovered from the stomach.

Yes indeed. I have seen it happen just like him so many times I have lost count. People that act that way and then they go camping or some other event and run into Sasquatch or some other creature, or even a negative entity and they become so traumatized and takes them years to get over it, or they never are the same person after that.

But until they actually have an experience if ever, they mock, scoff, and ridicule as a self defense mechanism. Rather it shows a level of immaturity that is embarrassing to those much wiser.
